Hotel Casa Velas and Velas Vallarta

Great layout, great staff, great practice area. My only issue's some of the sand traps need more sanding them,or need to be tilled up, making it difficult to get out because your club bottoms out and bounces into the ball.

Also my group would like a place to get a drink after our round but you close the bar too early. Other than that, we truly enjoy it at Vista.

Very difficult course with lots of water and tons of sand. Not for the feint of heart, but I knew that going in. Staff were very friendly, and even though it rained a bit, we enjoyed ourselves. But the fairways were bare in lots of places and the bunkers had huge rocks in them. Greens were good, and quick. But I was disappointed in the overall maintenance and upkeep. For the money, Vistana is a much better track and better maintained.

Golf has become very expensive in Puerto Vallarta. Was able to get a decent price and tee time. Enjoyed course and saw many crocodiles

Course is great, people working at the course are fantastic. Highly recommended....also don't feed the crocodiles :)

Staff were great. Course was tough but fair. A lot of break on the greens. Some of the bunkers have stones so be careful. Really enjoyed playing there

Outstanding golf course. Tricky but fair greens, well maintained. Great staff, shout-out to the starter Jae! Pretty expensive to play earlier but twilight rate was fair. Will most certainly play again.

It was different to play Golf with crocodiles around

Price has gone up considerably in the past few years but service has not increased. For the expense not necessarily value for your money

I like their Course and the LAyout but certainly thought it was overpriced for the condition it’s in. Bunkers need a lot of work, greens are inconsistent and a few were really in tough shape. Has the bones to be a nice course.
