Expensive with bad management
While the description does state that there is only nine holes, I thought it was deceptive considering I was able to book 18 holes. We arrived 30 minutes early and ended up teeing off 30 minutes late without a warmup of any sort. This was solely due to bad management on the course's part as we did not have any special requests.
As for the course, just about every hole is lined with residences. At one point, I pulled a drive into a complex and got berated by half the residences that live there even after apologizing. They complained to the course staff who came out to watch us on the next hole, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable.
All in all, not a good golf experience, especially not for what we paid. I think we deserve a significant refund.
Beware of fish tacos
Man the included fish tacos after our round were so tasty, but got me so sick. Be careful with those.
Overpriced for rentals, 100usd. Not a bad course for the price.
Good alternative
If you just want to golf in Cabo without the expensive price tag and no frills, you won’t be disappointed. However, the course is just in average shape. They charge $25 USD per person for mandatory “all inclusive” food and beverages. The tacos were quite good and includes drinks include beer and hard liquor. The club rental was $50 but the clubs were actually nice name brand clubs. Overall good value for the price. Especially given Cabo course prices. Would golf here again.
Food Charge
Vidanta provides good value until they force you to pay $25 for poor preset food selection. Really bad food options. I would rather buy my food,. :(
Get what you pay for
39 dollars on Golfnow app plus 25 dollars for food and beverage cart so basically unlimited drinks!
The course is laid out nicely 9x2 for 18. Problem is the course is old. Driving your car down the fairway is like driving down a rutted dirt road! My back was sore from all the bouncing around! The course was a little dry as well but that may just be because they are redoing the lake? I’ll play there again. I don’t have much choice as all the other courses are so expensive!!
Good layout and affordable
Good layout
Conditioning just ok
Greens are playable 6.5/10
Bunkers good
Staff are helpful and friendly 10/10
Tacos good, margaritas great (cart staff)
Fun course
Although it is a9 hole course it’s a tough little track.
The price is right and it is lots of fun.
Great course with great staff
We've golfed here for many, many years and always enjoy our day on this great course. Plenty of challenge for us. The staff is always so friendly and accomodating.
We do wish they'd remove the mandatory food and beverage and revert back to a user pay system. We would golf more often if we did not have this added cost on top.
Decent course
The staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful!! It’s a decent course if you’re not prepared to pay $250 to play some of the other courses around here. The $25pp food and beverage fee is a bit of a rip off. How many tacos and beers can you eat and drink for $25? Put the price up a little and include everything. But we always have fun playing the course anyway. Sometimes it’s a little slow if you get behind people that don’t move very fast
$25 tacos!
They mandate $25 pp for two tiny tacos. Only one kind of canned beer, no gatoraide, no other kind of sodas available except Pepsi, no Diet Pepsi. Margarita’s we’re very weak.
Course is ok, but the dirt cart paths have lots of ruts and holes. It is the cheapest golf course, but to me, not worth it just because of the mandated $25 person.
Staff is great!
$25 mandatory fee for food
What a rip off. Two tiny tacos and standard beer. Not thanksZ
The all you can eat and drink that is not all you can eat
They advertise an all you can eat and drink fee that is mandatory which from what I hear nobody wants to pay but everyone is forced to .. Upon arrival we were sternly told that we can only have the food which consists of plain tacos 1 time throughout our day pick now or later and 2 drinks alcoholic or non count as 1 drink at the food shack . And 2 times we can order drinks from the kart . I have played here many times over the years and this is the first time we were treated with such disrespect . I told them how much the fee said it was going to be online and they argued and wanted us to pay more than it says and then after we pay we go down and find out it’s not even all inclusive . There was one gentleman working there Saban , who was great to us and he made the day tolerable .
