My playing partner. 80 years old and still nailing his drives! Photo submitted by JettSpot on 07/11/2017
Don’t play solo
Course was great, conditions were awesome. Showed up early to get some warm up in. After about 30 mins the caddy came and got me and asked if I wanted to go out early. I asked if I was going with another group or playing solo and he said we would meet with another group and join. Got to the tee box and there was a group of 2 waiting to tee off and I got pushed infront of them. Felt completely rushed. They put me out solo and pushed be through 6 more groups. Waiting every shot and then rushing and pressured when playing through. We got to about 10 and d it was so backed up that I waited 5 mins every shot. Was a very terrible experience. When back at the clubhouse I got in a cart back to the taxis and talked to three guys that were just infront of me for the last 8 holes. Turns out they were the same original tee time as me and got there early and they sent them out without me. Course was awesome, experience was terrible. I wouldn’t allow them to pressure me into playing solo again and wouldn’t believe them if they told you that you would join another group.
Beautiful.
Beautiful course. Mint fairways and greens. Golf now doesn’t mention you have to pay for a Caddy. Nice guy but pointless. Rentals are very expensive and don’t even come with balls. One bathroom on the course.
Great Course
Course was very nice and in excellent shape. The mandatory caddy was very helpful. Pace was a little slow but very enjoyable round. Make sure to arrive early as shuttles to golf shop take awhile and entrance for taxi drop off also takes awhile. Would definitely recommend
Nice course, better arrive early
Course is nice, beautiful, upkeep Is great. PGA tour was here 3 weeks ago. Caddy was great but I wasn't expecting.a Required caddy so make sure you have some extra dinero. You better arrive early because it takes a lot longer to get there than you think. The course is right behind the airport but the way in winds all over the place and then after check-in you get your cart and caddy (like I said, a surprise) then you wind around again all over the place to get back to the course, probably at least a mile. I think the pro shop is closed. I always try to arrive 45 minutes early and that didn't happen with all the winding around so we didn't get to hit balls. This might all go away whenever the pro shop situation gets fixed, I can't believe it would be permanently like it is now. March of '24.
Played directly after PGA
Course was immaculate, played 3rd day after it opened after the PGA...just a treat
Enjoyed the course
Very structured experience, starting with security, then waiting for a tram and a long ride to the pro shop, then waiting in a que to check in, 5 registers but 1 or 2 open. Then outside to wait for help to the driving range,10 minutes, picked up my $65 rental clubs, off to the range, and hit 20 balls, then was paired with 2 guys and a caddie (Raul),good experienced caddie. Course was in very good condition, especially 2 days after the PGA Mexico Open. Just not a country club like experience (oh we also need a wristband).
Disappointing day
When we arrived there were no caddies or carts. We were
Driven to the range to wait for our cart, the driver expected a tip for this. We started the game without a caddy, and he joined us along the way. At the end we asked the caddy where to get a beer (20 year employee) and he stated there was nowhere to get a drink. We asked i side the clubhouse and were told that maybe we could flag down a cart girl. The starter then told us that if we walk around back of the building, there is a lovely pool bar. Talk about misinformed staff.

Mexican vacation golf
Course was in great shape and would highly recommend for all levels of golfer. Greens were very good and putted true and quick. Fairways and tees were also excellent. Required caddie Louis was very helpful and provided good advice. Pace was a little slow but course and weather were so nice it wasn’t a big negative. Will definitely play again and highly recommend.
