Longue Vue Club

About Longue Vue Club
Established in 1920, Longue Vue has grown from an idea of its founders to one of the most prestigious, multi-service clubs in the country. Longue Vue Club has been as a Pittsburgh institution and second home for its members for the past century. Today, the golf course remains as one of the finest courses in Pennsylvania with Longue Vue Club having the honor of being asked by the USGA and Oakmont Country Club to co-host the stroke play portion of the 2021 U.S. Amateur Championship. Featuring panoramic views of the Allegheny river and impeccably maintained playing surfaces, Longue Vue’s 18-hole course proves that strength alone won’t carry the day. With fast, subtle greens and strategic bunkering, the course design is uniquely classic. Designed by pioneering American architect and the first president of the PGA, Robert White, the course features replicas of renowned Scottish holes such as the “Redan,” the “Eden,” and the “Alps.” During the past year, significant renovations have taken place to restore and heighten the original integrity of both the clubhouse and golf course. We have added another tier to our driving range and enhanced the landscape of our course through extensive tree removal. Longue Vue is more than just a golf course with dining programs, shooting facilities, pool, racquets sports, and family activities for the entirety of our diverse membership. At the heart of our club is our membership: the families who have called us their home away from home for generations, the golfers who know every inch of our historic course, and the members who celebrate life’s happiest moments with us at Longue Vue Club.
