More than 300,000 square feet of gaming space and more than 1,500 rooms and suites are spread across two luxury hotel towers. Beautiful course.

Beautiful course, some VERY challenging holes.
The course is in great shape, greens roll true, fairways and tee boxes in very good shape.
Some of the greens are TOO difficult for the average golfer.
Staff was friendly and down to earth.
GolfNow made playing here affordable.
I will return. Food in grill room was very good.

Beautiful course on a beautiful day but...

Not sure I want to take over 5 hours to play 18 holes. Only saw a ranger drive by us once. Would like to have known why play was so slow. But, it was a beautiful day so I am not complaining, just commenting.

A course with character

Expected delays on a Saturday afternoon. Can't complain since we missed designated tee time of 2:02, but eventually teed off at 3:45. I didn't expect the course to run out of carts. This course has character, especially #5, 6, and 12. Starter and staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'll play this course again. Fortunately played with someone who had good knowledge of the course. Note: Stay below the flag.

Great track, management needs improving

Although our experience didn't start well, the course itself was in great shape and a good challenge. The pro shop told us that they didn't have my reservation in their system because the "GolfNow computers have problems". I let them know that wasn't my problem as a customer, but that didn't stop them from pushing my scheduled and paid for tee time of 3pm out until 3:50pm! Completely unacceptable. What made this worse was that I called the course earlier in the day to confirm my reservation. They notified me of the problem at that time and guaranteed it wouldn't be an issue... so much for that.

Play was very slow, but to be fair, there is a large number of players who are playing comp rounds from Mohegan. These people have spent large sums of money at Mohegan and deserve some perks. However, there were literally no carts available when we arrived at the course and our foursome didn't get the second cart until ten minutes before tee off.

Bottom line, really bad management of a fantastic course.

Mohegan Sun golf course

The golf course was closed last year for remodel of some holes the greens on this course are like something I have never played on or seen for that matter have played over 40 different courses in CT none like this the greens are impossible to putt huge hills on 10 T0 12 greens and cost being 125$ per round stay away go to Lake of Isles instead also the practice facility is way below the price range standard.

Mohegan Sun at Pautipaug Golf Course.

I had played Pautipaug CC many times before Mohegan Sun bought and had the golf course redesigned. I have no problem with the layout changes that they made to what was one of the better private courses in Eastern Connecticut. My big problem with the redesign of the course is related to the dificulty of the greens that were redesigned. There are probably 5-6 greens that are way too extreme for the average (20 hncp) golfer like myself to play without at least 3 or 4 putting. As with many golf course architects today, these 5-6 greens tend to be so extremely undulating with so little room for error that only a pro could play them without dificulty. An example would be the 6th green and the 12th green, both multi-tiered greens that have 5-6 foot drops between 2-3 levels. The day we played the course, I hit the center of the 12th green with an 8 iron and didn't quite make the top level, so my ball rolled backwards down the incline and all the way off the green. That being said, I still managed to shoot 102 from the white tees, and would play the course again once or twice in the future for a real challenge. One of my playing partners said this was the most difficult course he has ever played in Ct. If you want to test you golfing skills - play the new Pautipaug.
