mohegan sun golf course
overall very nice excellent greens fairways a little dry but playable. for the money 125$ it was ok value. its a relatively easy course that plays well unless u have a bachelor party in front of you. lol also their was a fair amount course construction which did not help
If you have a ravger
Then having him understand his job is kinda key. Rudest dumbest guy I have ever encountered
Course mess
It’s unfortunate for 2 years straight they been working on certain holes it’s a complete disaster on hole 6 and 7 . I would not be happy paying for this pricey round . This is one of the largest casinos in America also you would expect better quality. Staff is great.
Greens, fairways and tees
Multiple hole were under construction, there were no ball washing stationed and fairway were poorly mowed. Not worth the cost to play there.
Course is in construction
Every time it seems, I play this golf course. Something is under construction at least two holes were being rebuilt this last time.
Course needs lots of work
Shameful for the course to not tell people how many holes are closed and how much work is being done to this course it seems it's always under construction and yet you never see anybody working on it
Wildly poor conditions
Sure, we’ve had a lot of rain this summer, but to still charge 170 bucks for 18 and have a majority of fairways be wasteland, some bunkers be rock quarries and burnt areas in the greens is wild.
Playing MHS
The course has been under repair of some sought for the past couple of years. Recently the fifth hole was closed for a week while the crew worked on a sand trap. The seventh fairway looks like a bomb zone, holes all over the place. The fifteenth fairway has similar attributes. Several other holes are undergoing minor repairs. Unless you have a deal to play golf the prices are stiff. Another MHSC jewel is no rain checks so be sure to check the forecast before you spend your hard-earned cash here. After playing golf the 9-dollar 16oz beer should be enough to round out your day. River Ridge golf course offers the same at 5 dollars. Have fun if you've got a couple of hundred to blow
Dissapointment
I've been there several years ago. The condition is shockingly poor. The staff, (except in the pro shop) was disinterested and unhelpful. The grass was more crab grass than real grass.
Even the halfway house had no hot dogs at noon and at 1 they had no buns--which is bizarre for a Saturday.
All in all, it was more of a 3rd rate muni instead of a $170 premier course.
