The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

The fourteenth green, at 560 yards, will take two Herculean shots to reach in two, but anything less may find its way into the small brook before it. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

Norwich Golf Course
Had a great day and other than losing some balls in the leaves, everything was excellent.
Good condition for fall
The fairways, greens, and tee boxes were in excellent shape. Food was good in the restaurant. Pleasantly surprised to see drink cart on course during the week.
Always a pleasure
I don’t remember if I rated this course before, but I always enjoy playing it. Great conditions, as always.
This course is a gem. Donald Ross design so putt well.
The firs hole is as inviting an opening hole as I’ve ever seen. Not to say its an easy course, but its an easy course to play into. There are no holes that are unfair, and there are very few holes that are birdie-grabbers.
I don’t know how the city of Norwich is able to maintain this course, but good for them.
One of my favorite courses. I play it 5-6 times a year and it has never disappointed
a good day to play
the course is in the best shape I've seen in a long time the fairways and greens are in great shape.leaf management is excellent there out there blowing them most of the day. adding the wells for water irrigation was one of the best thing they did. where they did the construction for the pond and wells grass is slowly coming back.
Well maintained
Very well maintained, plays well, all around one of my favorite courses in connecticut
Leaf review
I have played this course many times with no complaints; but yesterday, 10-31-20 was not good. This time of the year we are used to dealing with leaves just off the fairways or even on the fairways and that was pretty much the case yesterday. My problem was with the greens. No exaggeration, there were so many leaves on most of the greens that it was impossible to putt with any accuracy. Why couldn’t maintenance sent someone out with a blower. By the way this wasn’t an early morning tee time, we went out after 11:00 am.
Very Enjoyable
Course was in great condition. Pace of play was so much better than earlier in the season.
An excellent course
This is an excellent course! The Teebox is, fairways and greens are in great shape. You get some decent roll out of the fairways. And the greens were firm and fast. The course layout is great it’s a real challenge. The beverage cart and snack shack weren’t open but that was OK. I come to the golf course to Golf not to eat.
Great conditions
Have played a few courses down in this area on business and this is by far the best one I’ve played. Tee boxes were great, fairways were great and the greens were fast and true! Will definitely be back and I’d play this over any other courses you see on golf now in this area.
