Fun Course!
Second time playing there and unfortunately did not get to play Grizzly :(. However, the Kodiak / Black Bear was just as nice as the first time. Had a bunch of rain the day before and it was cart path only and it made out for a longer round. I get it though! I’ll definitely be back as long as TeeOff provides great rates and MORE options PLEASE. As these local courses start to penalize locals change and increase rates so it’s unaffordable TeeOff is the ONLY way I’ll get to play them.
Very fun track
I got to play Kodiak and Black Bear. Both were a little different but very nice track. I look forward to coming back and playing Grizzly!
Enjoyable
Played here for the first time on a very windy Tuesday in May. I really liked the layout. Interesting, challenging, but fair. The day we played was a tough day weather-wise, but I had fun. I want to return in more summer like conditions to really be able to enjoy the routing.
Early May
Hours before we started it actually hailed in Mayso it was cart path only no biggie. We didn't run into anyone the whole round due the quick storm. The course was in greatcshape, super fast greens, well maintained fairways and bunkers. The course is nestled in The Bear Trap Community so your not going to get the wildest or most scenic layouts but still a very pretty course.
Nice staff and nice course
The course and people are nice. “Cartmaster Steve” is the best.
It all depends
We played « Kodiak-Black Bear ». The Kodiak is boring. You always have to aim left, either because the right side of the course is out-of-bounds or because all the trouble is on the right. The Black Bear is a different story. Every hole is different from the precedimg one. Very interesting nine holes. On both the first and second nine holes, fairways and greens were in bad shape. The greens were jumpy and quite slow. However, we must recognize that we played early in the season.
Surprisingly, the were no starters and no « Marshall ». A very slow group in front of us made it a long day.
Great staff…slow play, but fun layout.
Super friendly staff. Nice practice facilities. March golf, so course wasn’t 100%. Still, nice layout and risk reward on many homes. Would recommend.
Great Course. Got lost three times
As a first timer, it’s very confusing because it is three nine hole courses. The biggest issue is that there’s not very good signage directing you to the next tee. I got lost three times.
Aearation
Should have it posted somewhere on the app the dates for aeration. Greens were just punched and sanded. Not playable. I get it I’d March Not worth any money to play when other courses were open
