About
Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are situated on a scenic stretch of coastline, just a few miles west of Bethany Beach. The holes are played in three different 18-hole combinations that tumble across sandy dunes and grassy hollows. The natural contours of the coastal landscape largely determined the movement and flow of all three nine-hole courses. The nines, Grizzle, Kodiak, and Black Bear, all have winding fairways bordered by native wetland grasses and lush, oversized greens that boast some of the best conditions on the Eastern Shore. The Black Bear/Grizzly combination is the longest of the three golf courses. Not only does the coastal terrain provide many natural hazards, including several water features, there are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Great walking courses
First, the Staff was Excellent! Everyone from Starter/ Cart guys/Pro Shop. Everyone was very Professional and had Great Customer Service skills. That goes a mile for me. 3 9 Hole Courses that when I play again, I will walk. You don't need a Driver if you hit over 225 yards. 3 wood is fine. The real test here is keep in the Fairway and your scoring is 100 yards in. Alot of bunkers so be careful. I enjoyed my round. A little pricey but what's not now a days.

One of the best in the area, country club amenities. Starter is awesome, very accommodating staff, course conditions are top notch. One extra club at sea level. Love it each time I play here. High fives to the crew, great work!
Good Course To Play If You Snag A Prepaid Hot Deal.
Enjoyed it very much.

Would play again when I’m back in the area, especially for a Hot Deal.
Didn’t get to play - rainout
It’s a shame golfnow states they do not offer refunds on hot deals. Rained out by the first hole. $100 down the drain.
Bear Trap Dunes must play
Played 4/26/26. The course is in great condition. Especially the greens. It's in great shape. The pace of play was a little slow bur reasonable for a Sunday round. If ever in Delaware beaches Bear trap is a must play
Bear Trap Dunes Good Course to play if at the Delaware Beach
Bear Trap Dunes has 3 9 hole courses. Each a bit different and nice layout. Very fun and challenging courses. My favorite is the Black Bear. Kodiak and Grizzly are nice as well. Must play if at the beach
Early Season Deal
I enjoy Bear Trap every time I'm there, this was no exception. Got a good early season deal and played Kodiak and Big Bear, nice tracks in good shape for March.

Course in great shape considering it's still March. Can't complain about service because it's still off season.
Great courses
Love the course! Has a great layout with someone challenging holes and some easier holes. It was early spring so course is just returning after a tough winter. Was in great shape for the time of year and will improve as it gets closer to summer.
Good time had by all!
Brought my friend out. He has not played since last summer. He is still working on his game. Still very much a beginner. We played from the white tees and distance was a challenge but fair. Everything went very well. Entire staff was amazing. We had a very good time. My friend told me he wants to play the course every time he comes down. I think that is the best compliment any course can receive.
Great spring conditions
This course was in great shape for late March. Greens were firm and fast and fairways were in great shape.
