The discovery of a natural hot spring in the 1960s inspired the birth of The Dotham National Golf Club & Hotel. Its hotel and golf course were built shortly afterward. The healing waters of the spring are heated and pumped into an indoor spa pool available only for guests. All the rooms and suites have been updated. Packages can include a breakfast buffet, breakfast and lunch or dinner, too. The 7,425-yard, par-73 course lined by pines has hosted the SEC Championships multiple times.Facts

They offer golf now bargain rates and then greive you over it. A has been course on some choice real estate.
Dothan National Golf Course Review
The condition of the fairways excellent. They had been recently mowed and it was easy me at 75, bad eyes and all, to locate my golf ball., except for the one I hit into the water! They were working on grass improvement on a couple of greens, so you know they care about the course. They love veterans there-- got aa free basket of golf balls to hit before my round stated! The price is play is more than fair for the excellent condition of the course. I will definitely come back to take another crack at it!
Old school gem
Nice staff, well maintained, beautiful scenery. Can be challenging. Great value. Course awesome...hotel and pro shop dated. Staff friendly. Will return.
Front Nine poor, Back nine better
The greens of the front nine were pretty poor, looked like suffferedfrom summer heat/lack of rain.
Back nine was markedly better.
Rough and fairway cut at same hieght. No advantage being in fairway but then again rough wasn’t punishing.
Decent value for the money thu.
Proshop/bar ver friendly as was pn course staff.

Thoroughly disappointed with this course
Hi,
The course was not maintained well. The front 9 greens were not even, had tons of sand sitting on them, and were simply not good.
There were many unfilled ditch holes within the sides of fairways from possible past rain storms.
Great place.
I would suggest a beer cart and a staff or 2 but all in all great place. I like the driving range shot tracker. Looks to be a working progress so can't wait to come again to see the changes .
