About Kiva Dunes
Kiva Dunes Resort is set within a conservation area on the Fort Morgan peninsula minutes from the sugar-white beaches of Gulf Shores. Its vacation rentals range from full homes to fully furnished condos, each allowing guests access to the resort's four pools, two restaurants and private beach. The Kiva Beach Club is home to a salt-water pool and full restaurant service. Massage and yoga services are available. Kiva Dunes, a Jerry Pate design, is considered by many Alabama's No. 1 public course.Facts

Horrible pass of play.
Longest 18 holes of our life . Sat and waited before every shot!
Slow Pace of Play and loud music in almost each cart
Beautiful course, well maintained, friendly staff. Most of the players had no etiquette, loud music everywhere, yelling on the greens.The Course is nice but the guests have no behavior
Friendly Staff
We had a great day at Kiva Dunes. The staff was incredibly kind. The pace of play was ok as a large group went out in front of us, but we only waited to tee off on a couple holes. The carts are very nice but don’t have GPS. The coarse conditions were very good. We saw a nice alligator getting some sun on the 18th hole. The on coarse beverage service was great. The nice lady selling beverages filled my cooler with ice.
Great day at Kiva
Staff is great very welcoming ( more business should follow that ) played with Jonn Brain and local Mark had a great day even if my game was not great. Course was excellent condition fairways and greens . Highly recommend
Conditions not as good as Lost Key at half the price
We played Lost Key the day before. The fairways and greens were AWESOME!! Paying more than double to play Kiva Dunes we expected the course to be in much better shape. It was not. To be fair Lost Key was in fantastic shape. Kiva was good but we were all disappointed compared to Lost Key. The greens at Kiva have a lot of slope in them. One of the cart guys told us after the round every putt inside 10 ft is straight... That would have been a handy bit of info to have. Not sure we saw that while we were out there. In any case Kiva is a nice layout but I would say overpriced vs Lost Key.
Beautiful Kiva Dunes
By far, one of the premiere courses in southern Alabama. Try to golf it several times when we visit from Wisconsin.

First rate operation
Great course in great condition. The only disappointment was you were so close to the gulf and the bay you never saw any if it from the course.
Pace of play was slow, but course was in good condition
We were behind two foursomes that were there for a batchelor party. The Marshall’s talked to the a couple of times but what are you going to do. Course was a fun setup. Disappointing that you can’t see the ocean, but you can hear it on the back 9. I will play this again the next time I’m in Gulf Shores. Good track for the money.
Kiva is Awesome
If you’re looking for a great course and don’t mind the price Kiva is amazing!
