Lake Guntersville State Park
About Lake Guntersville State Park
The 6,000-acre Lake Guntersville Resort State Park sits along the Tennessee River in northeast Alabama. Its natural beauty has attracted a nesting bald eagle population that's increasing. There's a beach complex, outdoor nature center, fishing in the state's largest lake (Guntersville Lake), 36 miles of hiking and biking trails and the Screaming Eagle Zipline. Visitors can stay at a resort inn on the pinnacle of Taylor Mountain, home to a restaurant and convention center. The Eagle's Nest Golf Course, renovated in 2009 by Jerry Pate, is located on top of the mountain as well, providing challenge and scenic holes with lots of elevation changes.Facts

I played this course in 2007, it has improved 100%. John and his staff went out of there way to accomadate us ! After a very rainy night the course was in great shape , we had no difficulty navigating the course! We will be back !
