The course was in pretty great shape. Pretty much what you should expect for a $150-300/tee time course.

Greens, fairways, and rough were all in great shape - especially since we played right after a tournament. Greens rolled true and fast. My only note is the tee boxes: some are great, some are burnt out and severely chunked up, some were fluffy and needing trimmed. Ultimately a great course with only one very minor flaw that we noticed. Staff was very nice and helped us get around since we were first timers. Facilities were beautiful and well maintained.

Even a beginner can navigate this course with caution. Pretty open and playable for all experience levels.

World class bent grass greens. Would play regularly if it were less expensive, standard weekday rates are too high.

Outstanding course in many ways: immaculate grounds conditions, incredible variety of golf holes (from meadows to mountains), challenging but very fair, entire course is aesthetically pleasing while a number of holes are absolutely stunning. Booked through Golf Now, at a "Hot Deals" rate. Worth every penny!

For the top ranked public course in Alabama, it was a major let down. From the rental clubs that were over 90 dollars to the golf cart that ran out of power to the atrocious pace of play (no Marshall to be found), the list is way too long for this price point!

The layout had several unique holes, but on the whole was not as expected, The conditions were superb and the greens were great; however, factoring in all the other negatives it was not worth the very high price tag!

Course was in great shape coming out of winter and no rain for a while. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Price is a little high in my opinion. Was gonna grab a beer but they wanted $10 for a Miller Lite! I believe they can do a little better than that, overall good experience.

Played this track and found it to be in excellent condition. Greens were smooth and fast and the fairways were very well maintained. Tee boxes were excellent. Carts seemed relatively new. My issue (and maybe it’s just me), this course is in the middle of no where. We played on a Wed and they were not crowded at all so pace was great. However at $229 per round, I think you can find courses that are close to the same quality at half the rate. I have difficulty recommending g to a friend based on the price

Greens are in fantastic condition, even in February. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Practice range has everything, including complimentary balls and alignment sticks. The starter sends you off with water, towels, and even apples. The course is in great shape and provides drama on several par threes. I always find something to bring home from the pro shop/mercantile store.

From the moment you get on the property, everything is beyond expectation. The staff is helpful and friendly. The golf course is always in top condition. Can’t say enough about this place, if you haven’t played it it is definitely worth the trip.

Right after the getting into the farm you are greeted by longhorn bulls. Great chipping and putting area. Although the greens were a tad slow (it is winter) they rolled true and were in great shape. 4, 9 and 17 were some of the best holes I’ve played at a public course. The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend. Only thing that wasn’t 10/10 were some of the tee boxes which were uneven.

This is a gem of a golf course. Th practice facility is great. They had good quality range balls, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The layout is equal to any of the bigtime golf courses that I've ever played, and I play a lot! the greens were a good speed (a little fast, but not crazy) and they rolled very true.

Nice course to play once. Exceptional place just way too overpriced. Wait until the YouTube hype dies down and prices fall back below hundred bucks. Shame this price gouging has taken place !!! I guess they are rich enough to run the resort with only onetime customers. I will wait to go back after this business model fails.

Pursell Farms is easily worth the hype and was worth the 2 and a half hour drive from Northern Alabama. Breathtaking views and plenty of awesome tee shots. Course was well maintained as well as a staff that was very friendly! Can’t wait to come back!

This was the first time I played this course and I am quite happy with the experience! The staff was friendly and helpful and the course, while challenging, was fun to play! I will definitely come back to play!

I noticed there have been recent comments , did they book on golf now or tee off? Every time I try to book I always get the same message , an error has occurred or the tee time no longer exists. I’ve called customer service but didn’t get an answer. If you can’t book then why are tee times listed every day. Thanks
