Pursell Farms

Played this track and found it to be in excellent condition. Greens were smooth and fast and the fairways were very well maintained. Tee boxes were excellent. Carts seemed relatively new. My issue (and maybe it’s just me), this course is in the middle of no where. We played on a Wed and they were not crowded at all so pace was great. However at $229 per round, I think you can find courses that are close to the same quality at half the rate. I have difficulty recommending g to a friend based on the price

Greens are in fantastic condition, even in February. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Practice range has everything, including complimentary balls and alignment sticks. The starter sends you off with water, towels, and even apples. The course is in great shape and provides drama on several par threes. I always find something to bring home from the pro shop/mercantile store.

From the moment you get on the property, everything is beyond expectation. The staff is helpful and friendly. The golf course is always in top condition. Can’t say enough about this place, if you haven’t played it it is definitely worth the trip.

Right after the getting into the farm you are greeted by longhorn bulls. Great chipping and putting area. Although the greens were a tad slow (it is winter) they rolled true and were in great shape. 4, 9 and 17 were some of the best holes I’ve played at a public course. The staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend. Only thing that wasn’t 10/10 were some of the tee boxes which were uneven.

This is a gem of a golf course. Th practice facility is great. They had good quality range balls, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The layout is equal to any of the bigtime golf courses that I've ever played, and I play a lot! the greens were a good speed (a little fast, but not crazy) and they rolled very true.

Nice course to play once. Exceptional place just way too overpriced. Wait until the YouTube hype dies down and prices fall back below hundred bucks. Shame this price gouging has taken place !!! I guess they are rich enough to run the resort with only onetime customers. I will wait to go back after this business model fails.

Pursell Farms is easily worth the hype and was worth the 2 and a half hour drive from Northern Alabama. Breathtaking views and plenty of awesome tee shots. Course was well maintained as well as a staff that was very friendly! Can’t wait to come back!

This was the first time I played this course and I am quite happy with the experience! The staff was friendly and helpful and the course, while challenging, was fun to play! I will definitely come back to play!

I noticed there have been recent comments , did they book on golf now or tee off? Every time I try to book I always get the same message , an error has occurred or the tee time no longer exists. I’ve called customer service but didn’t get an answer. If you can’t book then why are tee times listed every day. Thanks

Awesome course! Great condition with a lot of cool history as you go each hole.

Unbelievable place. Beautiful, peaceful and a blast to play. Hole #5 is legendary. Holes 15 through 18 are out of this world. A little bit of Augusta with a touch of links. Amazing.

Farmlinks is a 5-star experience all the way around. I’ve played many courses and this is the best of the best. Incredible setting, perfect course layout, and immaculate greens make this a must play.

I have played in the fall. This time played in summer. The course was in great shape. It was hot but I was expecting it. They had bottle water at multiple location around the track. At turn chilled apples, water , ice available for cooler. This was my favor place to play little drive from Birmingham. Maybe I would consider staying play option in future. This is a 10.
