Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center

I play golf in Pensacola,Florida most of the terrain is flat, when arriving to the course and noticing all the different elevations on the course especially the 1st tee elevated at 200 feet was absolutely awesome .Hitting to elevated greens especially "chipping" proved to be a challenge but was a fun and different challenge I would with out any hesitation recommend playing this course .

The course was a much more difficult because of my knowledge of the course. Many of the tee shot and approach shots are blind or are not clear. The back presented a must tougher challenge in that the hole were tighter and had several elevation changes adding to the difficulty. Greens were slower than expected, but was told that at the bag drop.

This is our favorite course on RTJ Trail. We've played all of the courses except Dothan and Mobile. We try to hit different sites, but we always end up back here most years. Tough course. Impossible if you play the wrong tees. Conditions always great. Staff at facility excellent. Looking forward to this Summer's trip. Spending the entire 3 days @ Capital Hill.

What a great course. Some super views of the river. But paying attention to the course is a must. Know where the green is and plan how you want to get there. Some blind shots and shots that look easy aren't. Relax and enjoy. Cart staff was super and very helpful.

Enjoyed the course very much..keeping the ball in play a must but not impossible .loved the huge greens,had to take them into account for distance to flag

This course is beautiful and in good condition. The greens are challenging and most are multi-tiered with considerable slope. You do not want to be above the hole or two putts are going to be difficult.

Played from the 'whites', very challenging for a 20 handicap. Entire facility is top notch, from the moment you arrive at the drop-off you are treated well, very friendly staff. The course is in magnificant shape. All the 3' s were reachable with a short iron but well bunkered, with 3/4 surrounded by water. Beautiful!

Played Legislator course and loved it! Course was immaculate and very challenging. We played the orange tees and it was all we could handle. We will definitely be back to play the Senator and the Judge!

Lots of hills and elevated greens. Not much water. Course was in great condition and was a lot of fun to play. My wifevwho is a 27 hcp also enjoyed it very much

Played the legislator course and was impressed with the staff and the course itself. There seemed to be a few issues with the greens as far as maintenance was concerned but have never played on perfect grounds. Some rough patches, missing grass things of that nature. The staff was very friendly and were very customer service oriented. Rental clubs were top notch name brand clubs more valuable than my regular clubs. Club house was very impressive as well.

The golf course is run very well. The people in the pro shop are friendly and go out of their way to make golfing there a pleasant experience. The starters are very friendly and give you all the info that you need including recommending which tees to play and where the rest rooms are. They will also take a picture of your group if you ask.

Played, "The Legislator", course was very scenic, had an enjoyable round. Greens are large with many undulations, providing a challenging putting experience.

This is a course that is playable for all levels of golfer.

In keeping with the impeccable reputation that is the legacy of Robert Trent Jones, all three courses at Capitol Hill will present you with some of the best in golf. The courses are kept in tournament condition. These are not courses that you can just bomb a drive and over power the holes. You will need your "A" game and some prudent course management to score here. The RTJ golf trail has avid golfers plan their vacations here for a reason, The "Trail" is quite possibly the greatest trip in golf...period!

Played the Judge. What a beautiful golf course! You better bring your A game off the tee and on the greens! Very scenic views on every hole. A must play on the RTJ golf trail.

Beautiful course, part of the RTJ Golf Trail. Played 18 at The Judge and was blown away by the beauty and different structures around the golf course. Conditions were ideal but please bring your A-Game on the putting surface! Pin placement was "3" and waow did we get a lot of downhill putts! Hit good shoots but still scored pretty high (Very Challenging). Without a doubt will absolutely have to repeat.

One of the most challenging, and scenic I have play in a long while. You need to play this course if you have the chance.

Three of the most interesting and different courses I have played. Challenging but not impossible for a 14 handicap. Friendly and helpful staff makes you feel like it's your private club. Great practice facilities. Terrific value for the money!
