Links
A challenging beautiful course in central Phoenix with the best views in the Valley. One of my favorite courses to play in AZ, you can’t go wrong here! From the best Hot Dogs at the turn to the cool old school vibe, the AZ Biltmore delivers an awesome experience!
Beautiful course with lots of history.
I thoroughly Enjoyed the course, my only complaint might be it’s a little tight between greens and tee boxes in places.
Great Day - No Rain
We almost canceled our tee-time due to heavy rain in the forecast and I'm glad we didn't. It was the last opportunity for my brother and dad to golf together for some time and was also my Christmas gift to them. We all could have played better, but it was awesome to be together. Playing as a 3-some, we got off the course in 3.5 hours!
Adobe Course
Great course surrounded by huge beautiful mansions. Well maintained course with a pretty challeging layout. Greens were in pretty good shape, plenty of break and fast.. Everyone at the course was pleasant and helpful..
Sort of Dull
Play here for the history, not for the course itself. The course is straight forward without a lot of trouble. It was a tad long for me but my playing partners were fine with it. I play very fast golf so while I took an extra stroke or two, I didn't hold them up.
I thought the staff was kind of snooty. Only one person was at all welcoming. There was a tournament on Links so perhaps they were tired? But based on the attitude, I would find somewhere else to play if I ever go back.
I will say they had a phenomenal women's section in the pro shop, I was very impressed but the course and staff didn't impress enough to want any logo wear.
Nice Course -Unacceptable Pace of Play
Nice resort course. Good shape and well maintained. Front nine went well. On back nine had a group of four guys and three girls join together for a seensome. Marshall speared them on the 10th tee but there pace of play was incredibly slow. Called the club house twice to ask someone come out to speed them up but no one came. We were backed up three groups on each tee. Played three holes in an hour and half so decided to drive off and not play last 6 holes. Would have likely come back but with such poor course management will not risk it. Not a reputation you want to have in this day of already slow play. Purse should have a Marshall to monitor and establish reasonable pace.
Biltmore linkd
Great course from your appropriate tee box
A must play in the winter!
So we were fortunate enough to play after a tourney had ended. 4 hours pace for foursome . I like the links better than Adobe course. The food is excellent and the hot dog shack is maybe the best hot dog on a turn in Phoenix. Parking sucks but free Valet takes the sting out of that.
Play early
I played the course at 9:00am and think that is the secret to playing this hidden gem. The reviews I read before my round stated that it was a five plus hour round and because of that I booked early and played in 3hrs and 10 min. The course though wide open has a green side bunker that almost always was between my ball and the flag which lead to either attacking the flag or bail out which is great. Be as aggressive as you want which is all I could ask. The course is as wet as others noted so. I confirmed a lift clean and place game with my buddy that worked out well. The houses surrounding the course are beautiful and worth the visit themselves. All in all I would recommend this course to friends.
Busy
Played over thanksgiving weekend. Course was too crowded and conditions too soft (every drive created a mud ball). Had to Hit off mats before the round- which started 20 min late so we didn’t finish all 18.
Pace was slow
Could have saved 25.00 per if we booked through coarse GN is not always best price
