Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort

It was a perfect day for golf 72 degrees dry and sunny. The first tee on the Adobe course was confusing as the 18th green was 30 yards to the right of the tee box and the whole course was layed out that way. The black tee box was oftern so far back from the cart path it was a hike at least 40 yards back.

Twice I was nearly hit by golf balls. The tree's were sparse and not enough to separate the fairways. I highly recommend that if your looking for a course to play in AZ that you choose another one.

Great resort course layout, generous fairways, fair yet challenging from the black tees. Views of the Phoenix mountains were superb today!

This was my first time playing this course, in hopes it was going to be a great experience due to the cost. Do yourself a favor.....play any other course besides this one. Absolute garbage.

While well-maintained and with a friendly staff, the Adobe course is flat, boring, with fairways & hitting very close to others and tee boxes. Pretty and forgiving, but a yawner.

Course was great, played the back tees. If you hit your drives 250+ play the back tees. Only down fall was a lot of people aren’t repairing their hallmarks. Other than that, facility was clean, course was well maintained. Carts have GPS. Pretty wide open.

Fun course and great vistas. The homes are always a plus. Biltmore never disappoints. But it was a bit too wet at 0915 tee time. A little crowded the tee off but well managed thereafter. We tend to be spoiled in Phoenix by the course options and this at $130 is not worth it.

The course was completely overbooked. Our tee time was supposed to be at 1pm, and we didn’t tee off until 1:45pm. I booked our tee time 3 weeks in advance. The course was so overbooked that they were directing people to park on the grass near the practice area. We didn’t get to finish 18 holes before sunset because the pace of play was so slow. Didn’t see a single Marshall on the course to tell groups to speed it up. Only saw the cart girl once during our round. At the 15th hole it was starting to near dark so we headed towards the clubhouse and our cart kept shutting off saying we were in a restricted area even though we were on the cart path. The only good thing about the course was that it was in good condition. But all in all this course was a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favor and book your tee time elsewhere.

Course is good. Staff are very professional. Exemplary service for any golf club to follow. A basket of warm up range balls should come with the booking, which is the only reason I wouldn't give 5/5 for value. All things considered, Lovely track and I will be visiting again.

The course was slammed and extremely slow with people that were novices or totally inexperienced. The course stacked up, called the pro shop for a ranger to assist and NO ONE CAME. Horrible experience that I won’t repeat again.

Played om 11/25 and had a 1.15 tee time. 3 groups at the tee box got us worried. And yes the pace of play was just horrible. Waiting for every shot. The course conditions were horrible. Every ball you hit had mud on it, no water to clean your balls, grass in the fairway too long and the greens were absolutely the slowest I have played in a long time. Downhill putts just stop and uphill putts you need to hammer.

I understand they just came out of overseeding but you cannot charge this green fee for these conditions and pace of play.

These greens continue to be an embarrassment to the game of golf. Time and time again, I give it another chance and it never fails, the greens are ridiculously slow. Putts downhill should not stop on the slope. Why on earth do you keep

Much of the reason I say the course is "easy", is because of course design and maintenance. The course is WIDE, and the rough is ....short, real short. Hardly a chance of walking up to your ball and telling yourself that you can only hack it out 60 yards. Tough to lose a ball here - I lost one because of unfamiliarity, not knowing there was a pond behind a green. When you play a course for the first time and shoot a much lower score than average, it's an easy set-up. Staff was great, weather was great, the guy I played with was great.

This was the o Ly course that had an opening for a threesome at the specific time we needed. I now know why.

Like all the other reviews... thin grass, greens like molasses, etc.

My real complaint is that they should have indicated the course conditions in advance. There is no way I would have paid $100 to play a course like this!!
