A great course
We played the estates course which is in a tight area. That actually made it nice because there was not a lot of desert or brush to lose balls in. Staff is amazing.
Wierd Layout
A bit of a strange layout. Also course maintenance taking place all through the round in the afternoon without stopping during play.
Like most opinions on here, way overpriced for this course. The old course Adobe was just fine, Biltmore just needed room to build new facilities. The course is dangerous now and some greens had ground under repair even after being closed all that time. Glad I got that out the way. I'll play Links or play elsewhere.
First time Ohioans
Our round at the Biltmore was excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We actually booked our round for the incorrect day and they were happy to accommodate and get us out right away. The course is well maintained and Brian was an excellent starter for us in explaining all hazards and course conditions. We would definitely play again when we visit.
Too tight
It was hard to know which direction each hole was going. Tee boxes were so close together the GPS was confused. I was concerned about being hit by a ball also. way too expensive for what it was!
Great Conditions on ABGC Links
Course was in excellent condition, though some tee boxes needed leveling and more grass. Fairways were lush, allowing ball to sit up. All sand traps (and there are many) needed sand, as there was nine, apart from a dusting on top. Greens were receptive and ran true, with good speed. Rough was not terribly bad. It was unfortunate that only upon my arrival on the first tee was I told that a women’s shotgun tournament was to start on Holes 8-18 momentarily. I, as a single and first player of the day, was able to play unencumbered until Hole 11. The good news is they played fairly quickly and I was able to complete my round in 3.5 hours. This was my first time playing this course and I greatly enjoyed it, particularly with a great rate via GolfNow. BTW: Brian was a great starter/ranger on this day.
our first round of the weekend
This course was very pleasant once we teed off. no complaints. Greens were nice and medium paced.
Bizarre Layout!
Maybe the worst course layout I’ve ever played! Parallel holes too close together and even dangerous by some standards. Cross-crossing holes after the green very hard to determine which way to go. For a newly built course, it was in pretty bad condition, but wven though the greens had a lot of rough patches, they rolled well, albeit, too slow for my taste. Staff was very friendly and even the Marshall was understanding and helpful. They just need to change the hole layout and put some more money toward the grounds crew and course care. Then I may come back.
sand traps were rock hard really need rangers especially on weekends both are easy fixes for the links course
First time
From the start , finding it was horrible, finding your way around was also a little toy, but it was first time, it’s a course where everyone is in each others fairway, got to keep your head up, for the price I won’t be back
Needs to mature a little
Greens need a few more months of growth and tending.
Pro shop beautiful
Still building restaurant
It’s going to be beautiful when completed
Great location, on the expensive side
New facilities being built which impacted the overall experience. Currently no food or beverage options except for what's offered on the beverage cart. Course was in good condition; however, the tee boxes are in awful shape.
This course has potential
The first problem was finding the Club House. The road had very little signs and there was construction that made it difficult to find. The staff were friendly and they valet parked my vehicle. That a nice. The course is not well defined. It is hard to see the greens as the holes are so close. People in our group hit to the wrong green on several occasions. You also must be aware of balls coming from different fairways. The pace was very slow and I joined a group ahead of me to try and pick it up. We still waited every hole. The beverage cart did not help as it stopped in the middle of fairways to serve people instead of by tees. The course looked like it had been recently sodded and some greens were already burnt. I did not find the layout to be interesting. It was mainly flat and open. This course is fine for a beginner, but not at the price. I hav played many munis that are nicer.
Not worth it
Really poor conditions. I’ve never left a review on a course before but I would hate for anymore people to waste their money here. I’m not stingy either. If the course is pure it’s worth it but that’s just not the case here. Maybe they opened too early. Greens are not rolling true, plenty of greens with dirt patches all over the place. I didn’t score too bad here but was severely disappointed with the overall conditions of the course for a $200 round.
