Tee boxes need some attention. It’s one thing if one or two were primarily unfilled divots, but many look as if they haven’t been addressed in months. Some silliness putting the black tees behind the tree on #8 and the blind tee shot on #5, a par 3 is equally as silly too.
Sub par conditions
The links is the more interesting of the two layouts but unfortunately many greens were in rough condition and the tee boxes were for the most part dirt. Some fun holes to play but a few namely par 3s that are just fitted in. Also if your playing the back tees and can’t shape your driver either way some may not appreciate trees blocking their preferred ball flight.
Remodel definitely not Better
Layout has changed nd definitely not for the better
To tight
Holes were so close together the GPS got confused as to what hole we were playing. From the tee boxes, it was very difficult to see where your aiming point was. Poor layout , extremely disappointed considering the price
Do not have their act together
Signage to locate clubhouse: Poor
Parking: complete cluster
Cart: Cart #53.GPS completely out of whack. Cart would constantly go into warning/out of bounds mode when on the cart part and on fairways. Constantly having to turn cart on/off and put into reverse for extended backups in order to re-engage with normal function.
Employees: zero concern when cart issues brought to their attention. Cart 53 is probably back on the course today, completely messing up someone else's round.
Otherwise, we would have had a good day on the course. Nice views, course was in decent condition. Played with some nice folks.
Course is very good value.
Had a little bit of trouble with our booking and Leo-GM took care of things with no hesitation. Customer service is outstanding and it is very classy and elite golf course.
A great course
We played the estates course which is in a tight area. That actually made it nice because there was not a lot of desert or brush to lose balls in. Staff is amazing.
Wierd Layout
A bit of a strange layout. Also course maintenance taking place all through the round in the afternoon without stopping during play.
Like most opinions on here, way overpriced for this course. The old course Adobe was just fine, Biltmore just needed room to build new facilities. The course is dangerous now and some greens had ground under repair even after being closed all that time. Glad I got that out the way. I'll play Links or play elsewhere.
First time Ohioans
Our round at the Biltmore was excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We actually booked our round for the incorrect day and they were happy to accommodate and get us out right away. The course is well maintained and Brian was an excellent starter for us in explaining all hazards and course conditions. We would definitely play again when we visit.
Too tight
It was hard to know which direction each hole was going. Tee boxes were so close together the GPS was confused. I was concerned about being hit by a ball also. way too expensive for what it was!
Great Conditions on ABGC Links
Course was in excellent condition, though some tee boxes needed leveling and more grass. Fairways were lush, allowing ball to sit up. All sand traps (and there are many) needed sand, as there was nine, apart from a dusting on top. Greens were receptive and ran true, with good speed. Rough was not terribly bad. It was unfortunate that only upon my arrival on the first tee was I told that a women’s shotgun tournament was to start on Holes 8-18 momentarily. I, as a single and first player of the day, was able to play unencumbered until Hole 11. The good news is they played fairly quickly and I was able to complete my round in 3.5 hours. This was my first time playing this course and I greatly enjoyed it, particularly with a great rate via GolfNow. BTW: Brian was a great starter/ranger on this day.
our first round of the weekend
This course was very pleasant once we teed off. no complaints. Greens were nice and medium paced.
Bizarre Layout!
Maybe the worst course layout I’ve ever played! Parallel holes too close together and even dangerous by some standards. Cross-crossing holes after the green very hard to determine which way to go. For a newly built course, it was in pretty bad condition, but wven though the greens had a lot of rough patches, they rolled well, albeit, too slow for my taste. Staff was very friendly and even the Marshall was understanding and helpful. They just need to change the hole layout and put some more money toward the grounds crew and course care. Then I may come back.
