Pace of Play
We got stuck behind a group that was drunk and playing in 8 some. I called the proshop they did nothing. 3 hour 9 holes.
Great course but ultra slow play
Course was in nice shape, considering some of the greens were a little rough around the edges. But a 5 HOUR round took a lot of the fun out of the round. Good thing I was matched up with three fun golfers.
Fall Perfection at The Links Biltmore
The practice facilities are great! The clubhouse and Adobe Restaurant have been nicely redone. My lunch was great ams the staff was friendly and attentive. Perfect play for a perfect day!!
Biltmore Estates Golf Course
I was hoping that the course improvements would be a great thing. I was told the extra trees planted was to prevent errant balls from hitting other golfers.
This very flat course isn’t at all difficult, and by no means am I good at golfing but it seemed boring. The fairways and rough were in fantastic shape, the greens were rough, many of them seemed burned and just poorly taken care of.
I love the links course and will continue to play that one.
Nice course
Nice course in good condition.
Black tees on the 15th hole offer an elevated tee box with great views.
2nd time playing the links
Invited my friend to play this beautiful course. Starting at 2:30pm we where able to play 18 holes before dark 🤩
A tournament of retired baseball ⚾️ players left the course after we tee’d off on the 1st hole.
Fast greens good shape
Great practice facility. Estates Course easy. No trouble. Greens were good shape and FAST.
Got a Golfnow credit so made it “ reasonable” but I would not pay regular rate… too expensive for what it is. Not insulting the course just being realistic. Green fees are too much
Outstanding
Staff is wonderful, course condition was great; most of the greens were in excellent condition. The only downside was pace of play; waited at just about every hole.
Very nice course
Staff was very helpful from start to finish. Course was in great shape.
Love it
A fun course, many wide fairways, many challenges.
Great shspe
Greens rolling great. Fairways in good shape. Staff friendly. Too bad it gets too expensive in the winter.
Things to improve.
I enjoyed the golf course. The greens were firm and fast. The rough was way too long to the point that you could easily lose a ball. The speed of play was slow as it took 5 hours to play.
The bar serving the patio and outside area could to a lot better job. I was sitting on the patio for 15 minutes and when a server finally made it to the patio she went to a table of ladies that had just sat down and took their orders and completly ignored me.
Super tight - staff not friendly
The course is super tight with houses on every hole. Not enjoyable at all. I left a Bluetooth speaker in the cart and when I went back 30 mins later it was gone.
Arizona Biltmore Estates Golf Course
Course has a lot of overwatered/water logged areas, which made it tough to get in/out of my cart without stepping in mud. Course layout was funky and hard to follow. There were several dried out brown fairway areas. There are several holes where you do not quite know where to hit your ball to . On some holes, It was hard to see the greens. The course was cart path only….. not my favourite…. Also, the tee markers were metallic, making it confusing to know from which colour you were hitting , as the sun washed them out. Staff were friendly and the views were wonderful.
Not a Links Course
If you like playing between residential and commercial developments on golf holes that have virtually no connection then this is the course for you. The warning that you are responsible for any damages to adjacent properties ramps up the anxiety as the opportunity to have a wayward shot take out a window or a BBQ exists on most of the holes. If you like this course then you will love Starfire.
Interesting track
Unique for the valley. Disappointed with greens. I expect fairways to improve after the overseed.
