Great layout, well maintained, fast greens
Lots of greenery including lush rough. Fast greens. Every hole was different. Nice scenery. Fairly wide open but hazards were there to catch errant shots.
Range and practice facilities included free range balls, chipping and large putting green.
Pace of play was slow, most likely due to the inexperienced foursome in front. We had our tee time bumped to accommodate the last group of a tournament. Didn’t think much of it until we waited on every hole that led to a 5 hr round. Shouldn’t happen. Overall though I love this course. It’s my favourite in the area,
Pregame Warm-up
The course was fine but we were disappointed the range required us to hit off of mats only. We also were disappointed the putting green was off limits and set aside for the academy which wasn’t using it at the time. We used a small portion of the chipping green instead. One real positive note - the concession stand at the turn did have world famous hotdogs! We might come back for that.
Hidden Gem on the North Side
First time at Biltmore Estate course. Golf course was in excellent condition and the greens were fantastic. There are multiple tees for all levels of player and layout is challenging but fair. Don’t overlook this property during your visit to the valley.
Beautiful course
This was the first time playing the estates course at Arizona Biltmore. Price was a little high but I found it was well worth it. Staff was friendly and area was nice. Going to driving range was a little confusing since this was the first time. People would say go to hot dog stand and follow path along condos but I managed to get to the range and remembered the path after that. Driving range was hitting off mats but the chipping and putting greens were smooth and fast (possibly 10-11 on speed.). Played the front nine with members who were polite and friendly. Enjoyed the course and the greens were great. Fairway and bunkers were well kept. Would remcommend this course for others.
Fair challenge, tough greens, lovely neighborhood and good pace of play
As soon as I got to the bag drop i was welcomed and my bag was put on a cart and I was given clear instructions. Pro Shop seemed new, nice and spacious. Free range balls was a nice bonus. Nice practice area inc range and chipping.
Didn't catch the group ahead and only held up the guys behind a couple of times. I joined up with high handicap players who were expectedly to be slow but nice people. Great layout. Surprisingly fast greens that were not always easy to read.
I liked this course for being a full 18 holes. Wide open in places but hazards keep you on your toes.
Good drink cart service.
Very enjoyable.
Great course
The course was in great condition. Wide fairways but tough greens. Had breakfast before teeing off. Food was great.
Pace of Play
We got stuck behind a group that was drunk and playing in 8 some. I called the proshop they did nothing. 3 hour 9 holes.
Great course but ultra slow play
Course was in nice shape, considering some of the greens were a little rough around the edges. But a 5 HOUR round took a lot of the fun out of the round. Good thing I was matched up with three fun golfers.
Fall Perfection at The Links Biltmore
The practice facilities are great! The clubhouse and Adobe Restaurant have been nicely redone. My lunch was great ams the staff was friendly and attentive. Perfect play for a perfect day!!
Biltmore Estates Golf Course
I was hoping that the course improvements would be a great thing. I was told the extra trees planted was to prevent errant balls from hitting other golfers.
This very flat course isn’t at all difficult, and by no means am I good at golfing but it seemed boring. The fairways and rough were in fantastic shape, the greens were rough, many of them seemed burned and just poorly taken care of.
I love the links course and will continue to play that one.
Nice course
Nice course in good condition.
Black tees on the 15th hole offer an elevated tee box with great views.
