Reviews
Terrible shape
Dirt everywhere
Grassless tee boxes
No cart girl
Terrible greens
NEED RANGER ON COURSE!!!!!!!!!
The course was in good shape greens were nice. The only thing I can say is they need a ranger on course keeping groups moving. The front nine was no problem, when we made turn for back nine pace of play was terrible. There was a group of SIX playing together, was very slow and no ranger on course to help with problem. It was so slow we could not get but 15 holes in before it got too dark.
Bad shape
Course conditions have really deteriorated since we played here 3 weeks ago. Seems like there has been no watering. Lots of dying grass and dirt fairways. The only part in good condition are the greens. The washroom by hole 5 was dirty, and no paper towels.
Fairways not in great shape
Fairways are cut way too short, not sure why? Feel like you are hitting off dirt even in the middle of the fairway. Greens are pretty good but a little inconsistent.
Had a very enjoyable day with my had a very enjoyable day with some friends
Disappointing
Had heard that the new ownership had made good improvements .
Can’t find any of them.
Cart was out of key items. Range balls are awful and the course condition is not that good.
Don’t think it is worth th price they are asking for green fees
Easygoing course and a good value
My 3rd time playing here. I putted great despite a little rain! I enjoy the laidback atmosphere here. And the affordability. I think course conditions weren’t as good on my previous visits though. My only real complaint is that there’s a lot of dirt on some of the fairways where grass should be. But your ball will roll farther!
Good place to play
Course was in better shape than I seen it in last ten years. No issue with greens or tee boxes or fairways, Only problem if you do not land on fairway the weeds are everywhere making it harder to find your ball
Improving
I played here 3-4 years ago and the course appeared to be improved, however, it still needs work. Cleaned up. I have too high of expectations since I can play much nicer courses in Minnesota for less money.
Golden hills golf course
On a positive note, the course was in pretty good shape and the greens were excellent, except for mounting divots that would go unrepaired.
I have one criticism, missing rakes in 2 sandtraps..... On the 10th green, neither trap was raked. Many footprints, why?
