Arizona Golf Resort & Event Center is located in Mesa near Arizona State University and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. This 200-room property features banquet and wedding space and its own 18-hole golf course and practice center. Rooms types range from a studio double at 518 square feet to a three-room Casita King concept over 700 square feet, as well as a 1100-square-foot Presidential Suite. The golf course opened in 1960 and is a traditional design stretching to 6,601 yards by Jack Snyder. In addition to the main pool there are multiple jacuzzis throughout the property.Facts

Terrible Conditions
I’ve played this course a few months back and it was in good condition. Came back to play it again today and this is terrible. Fairways are dirt, rough is burnt grass. DO NOT PLAY RIGHT NOW!! Tee boxes and greens are the only reason this course is worth 2 stars.
Going down hill fast
I have played this course many a times over the past 5 years. I continue to hope that it will improve but over the last couple of years it continues to decline. The course is now just going downhill and conditions are pretty much unplayable I would not even play this course for free again

Liked most of my experience but must state I was Bothered by all the Warning signs about Parking and warnings of possibility of Car being Towed. Not sure what issue is but may not return? Best regards

Worse course in AZ
It was almost impossible to find grass on the fairway. It was like playing in a asphalt parking lot. Then you walk into the clubhouse and no air conditioner (REALLY IN ARIZONA). We should get a total refund but that won’t happen so I will never play there again
Arizona golf resort
The green's were in very good shape. Golfers should know to repair their ball marks( there were numerous on each green ). Only 2 of the 18 holes tee boxes were in good condition.
The fairways were really poor. More bare hard dirt than grass. I hope this is fixed before long.
The bunkers looked to be in great condition.
It would have been nice to know the greens were aerated prior to booking and playing. All that being said, A day at the golf course can't be bad.

The course has really gone downhill. I would not recommend this course probably the worst course in Arizona right now.

The course is in horrible condition. Hardly any grass and several fairways were flooded

Course needs some help
Course was aerated recently. Many fairways had areas of little to no grass. Greens were nice. Played here many times but have never seen the course in this condition at this time of the year. Areas where there was grass looked fine.

Out of touch, Absentee Owner
The course is currently almost unplayable. 4 of 5 pumps that move water are currently broken with no eta on repair. Apparently the owner, a doctor from California doesn’t want to spend the money. Local staff has to deal with that stupid decision.

Don’t waste your time
Grass was very dry. Drink cart showed up on hole 1 and never came back in 4 1/2 hours. No water or drink made is very uncomfortable. Would never go back based on this

Some of the tees need improvement.. Don’t turn sprinklers on when guests are standing close by.

Fairways are terrible tons of dead grass and dirt. Only played 9 out the 18 and decided to leave. Won’t be returning

Good value for summer golf
Staff was very friendly, played mid day on a Wednesday so not to many people. Typical summer conditions for Az some burnt areas in the fairways but all of the greens were in good shape and most of the tee boxes
