Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

Waited on every hole except number one. Three groups on several holes.

To top it off course was in poor condition.

Played as a single as the 3some paired with me got busted for trying to bring 12 packs of beer with them. Course was in pretty good shape considering the heat. My only beef is that the desk would not let me check in until 15 minutes before my tee time as I purchased a hot deal. So I come back and the desk tells me no problem he'll tell the starter, just go play. Really!?

I have played quite a few course this summer, and Canoa Ranch is in the best shape of all of them. The greens roll nicely, look good, & they are very receptive. The fairways are in good condition. The staff is very friendly, all this combined made for a great overall experience. Look forward to a return visit.

The greens are doing the same stuff they did last year.....around the perimeter of nearly every green, the greens are dead or just plain dirt. The first 1 - 3 feet of greens at the edges are this way. They clearly don't know what they are doing and should have never fired their golf course maintenance consulting firm last summer. So if you need to putt from just off the green...good luck! Better hone your chipping skills. Also, to the previous reviewer who complained they made him wait until his exact tee time even though the tees were empty during his wait....we had a similar experience a couple of months ago. This course and it's sister course need to hurry up and sell, as the current management team is destroying this course's reputation for professionalism.

Course was in fair shape but pace of play was excellent and the same with value. I would definitely take advantage of the price and pace of play to return again.

My complaint is with the course management and starter, who would not let people out on the course early. My partner and I were ready to roll 15-20 minutes ahead of our schedule tee time. There was no one ahead on the first fairway. Instead of sending us out early to avoid bottle necks, he held us, sent two foursomes ahead of us, paired us with another twosome, with a twosome following us. This was on a 90 degree+ day, when standing around is not enjoyed. The starters rationale is that our contract to play was only for our scheduled tee time, not earlier. If that is the way that course play is now managed, then maybe I will find something else to do with my time instead of golf.

Good views of Mountains, nice layout with elevation changes.

The course had problems wth their greens this year . They are now improving and will soon be back to normal.

Course is well maintained compared to their sister course at Torres Blancas.

Greens were soft and putted true.

Sand traps are maintained but could use more sand.

Fairways for the middle of July in Arizona were good.

No course marshall but pace of play was acceptable (4 hours) for a threesome.

Will play here again.

In February the greens were not playable, but a complete turn around has been achieved and the greens are in near top shape . The course layout has always been fun and requires your good game. Bring a friend.

Have played this course numerous times and almost always enjoy it. Greens have been in bad shape in the past but I felt they are really improving now. Fairways were good and pace was great (we played in 3 hours 15 minutes).

I was very pleased with my round of golf. Check-in gentlemen was very helpful and super friendly. Starter was also awesome. Thank you for keeping this course looking great. I will definitely be coming back here.

Canoa Ranch is fast becoming one of our favorite courses in our new hometown!
