About Crowne Plaza Phoenix Chandler Golf Resort
Located in Chandler southeast of Phoenix is the historic Crowne Plaza Phoenix-Chandler Golf Resort. This property dates back to 1912 as one of the earliest developments in Chandler and boasts the oldest grass golf course in the state of Arizona. This property on the National Registrar of Historic Places has 249 guest rooms and suites with private balconies, recently upgraded new with amenities. There is an outdoor pool and tennis courts in addition to the 18-hole golf course which was stretched to its current configuration in 1928. Guests are within easy walking distance of downtown Chandler bars and restaurants, though the property does have its own dining at AJ's, Crust Pizza and 1912 lounge.Facts

San Marco
Outstanding course both in shape and condition. We had an excellent day and wish we booked another round. My only complaint would be the 100 yard marker were nowhere to be found.
San Marco - Greta Value
This time of year it is very expensive to play in the Phoenix area. San Marcos is a GREAT value for those of us that can't afford $200+ a round
Hot Deal - San Marcos
I and my friends book often on golf now… I found a hot deal and booked a teetime. It did not appear to be a pre-pay scenario. Unfortunately I had to cancel the teetime. I did this in a timely manner, 48 hours prior to the teetime. I only received a credit and not a refund... this seems improper seeing that I canceled it with so much time to spare. This is a negative mark for golf now.. this needs to be clearly specified, other than small, legal language, that even though canceling a hot deal teetime in a timely manner your credit card will still be charged.
Nice course everything’s is good but the bunckers
This course is good, love the layout but the bunkers are terrible. They are very hard dirt. If they would poor real sand in the bunkers it’s would be awesome!
Great time
San Marcos golf course is in great shape who is often played. The staff who checked in is always a pleasure to chat chat with really nice guy and the rest of the staff were very friendly. Overall great outing.
Tough greens with bunkers surrounding them. Good challenge
Wide fairways. Can get away with drives that leak left or right for the most part. No range worth hitting prior unfortunately
Course in great shape
San Marcos is one of my favorite treks, always enjoy golfing here.

Very well taken care off
This golf is absolutely beautiful with trees lined fairways.The tee boxes is great greens were nice and sand traps were good.If your looking for a challenge with trees all around this is the spot.Best course I play for the money in Arizona yet.
Always a great round
So this is one of the oldest courses in AZ! The cottonwood that should have made it 50 years did not make it! Greens challenging! Grass very good since we have not had rain for...ever. Very fun and enjoy the two par 5 s to end a great round...then go have a cocktail at the HIDDEN HOUSE....

Fairways
Fairways are extremely close together. Lots of stay balls so be alert at all times.
Great course
Great staff, facilities are amazing. Putting green and chipping green are in great condition. Great food at clubhouse and at the turn. Only knock but doesn’t deserve losing stars is the driving range. It’s not long due to limited space. Fun track, challenging holes and greens are in amazing shape. -Ryan Jones
