Won’t go back
We played the Conquistador course. The greens are in terrible shape with a lot of dead spots. Only 8 bays for practice balls which were full the hole time we waited to warm up. Thank goodness we played with a member who knew the course or we would have been totally lost a few times. The carts are old and the brakes don’t hold very good. Then to top it all off the group behind us hit into a few times and never apologized. We were waiting for the group ahead of us until the last 3 holes.
The bag staff is very friendly and helpful, as if you are at a top resort!

Nice Golf Time
Once again the staff at the El Conquistador-Canada make this one of the best deals in Tucson! Course and Range were in great shape.

Thought the condition of the greens had gone downhill since the last time I played there.

Conquistador Side
Like the fact you can warm up at range as a part off what’s included. Very disappointed in the staff responsiveness and doing anything to accommodate or make right our cart that does by hole #3... seriously? Greens a bit of rough shape currently but course overall beautiful and challenging

Thank you for playing and leaving a review. We appreciate your thoughts. Sorry to hear about your cart situation. Hope to provide you a great experience on your next visit.

Very nice course
In quite good condition. Wish the driving range had better mats and/ grass. How much would it cost to redo the mats?.
Buyer’s Remorse
Very poor signage- need someone with you that has played the course before, or you’ll be backtracking to find your way, as the cart paths are in bad shape, sometimes non existent.
Not a scenic or beautified course at all, with a high level of road noise.
Way over priced, we’ve played more desirable courses at better weekend rates.
Upon leaving the 16th green (approx 2:45pm) we happened upon the first beverage cart of the day, which was unattended. By then it was no surprise, based on the experience we were having.
Conquistador on 2/12
Great pace of place , course in excellent condition except greens remain spotty and rough.

Very Narrow
This greens on the course are in poor shape. The people were great - very friendly. The course itself is extremely narrow with houses lining the fairways on every hole and they are close. I think I hit one driver all day. we teed off in the afternoon and by the time we hit the 8th hole it was backed up pretty good.

Golf before the Super Bowl LV
12:06 tee time on Super Bowl Sunday. Walked off 18 at 4:20! That worked. Course conditions included shaggy, blotchy, slow (7?) greens. Traps were unkempt either crusty top or soft loose sand. Sure, no rakes, you can move ball out of foot prints but traps were not groomed daily so they were a mess. Tough layout with some blind shots up hill, and some narrow, crowned fairways. Only one beverage cart in 18 holes!. At least the price was ok. :-).
