About El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort
The El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, is one of the destination's most historic golf resorts, dating back to 1928. It is also one of the largest for golf with two 18-hole courses and an additional 9-hole Pusch X short course that plays 2,700 yards. The AAA property features five pools, including one with a waterslide, as well as lighted tennis courts. Resort activities feature water aerobics, yoga and nature walks on nearby trails. For families, there is a kids club for ages 4-12. Among the 427 rooms are 1, 2 and 3-bedroom casita suites with separate living and dining rooms, swimming pool and hot tubs. The resort is adjacent to the El Conquistador Golf & Tennis, a semi-private club whose courses were built in the 1980s. Pace of Play SLOW!!!
Pace of play was totally unacceptably SLOW….. 5 hours!!! No course Marshall monitoring. Waited Forever pm every tee shot and approach! Will not go back to that course!

Enjoyable course with lots of challenges
The pro shop staff and starter were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We joined another two and appreciated it as there are often long distances between holes and separations. The course was in excellent shape. Each hole is separate from the others. Lots of up-hill holes but the greens are fairly level when you get up the hill. Lots of challenges. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and would definitely play it again and recommend it to others.

Terrific course
My wife and I enjoyed a round of golf here as a pleasant break during our road trip. The course was impeccably maintained and a true delight to play. The pace of play was ideal for us. As we are both new to golf, we never felt pressured, yet we maintained a good pace with the group in front. We would be thrilled to return. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Staff and course conditions were great. Driving range could be better, small and positioned stalls were nothing more than dirt, needed to be rotated to better grass condition
