Course review
Course was average at best. Pond on one of the fairways had garbage floating in it. The food cabana at the turn had very little choices as they said the ran out of everything at 1:30 in the afternoon. I would not golf this course again.
Had a great day
There are a few tee boxes that are tough but overall the course was very playable
Good condition
The course in good condition, there are a few fairways that are filling in where there were groves from over seeding. Pace of play great, greens pretty good.
A Great Day of Golf
The course was beautiful. Most fairways were incredible and the greens were great. The staff in the pro shop was extremely friendly. The starter was the best. I haven’t played this course in years and i was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Can’t wait to play again.
just okay
long drive from the valley for okay conditions...the course has character but the conditions are below par. There was standing water on several holes, gopher traps everywhere and greens are inconsistent and spotty.
Nice course.
This is a good layout. Challenging too. We waited an hour for the frost to thaw before we could get started. Pace of play after that was good except on #3. It is a longish par 3 and there were five groups stalled on the tee box at a time. We played 18 holes in just over 5 hours.
This place really needs more parking. There is only a tiny parking lot for all the golfers and any hotel guests.
Francisco golf course
Course is in good shape. Oly issue is with the firmness of the greens. They are too hard. You cannot hit an approach shots into the green and get in to stick. Ball does not even leave divot.
Basic golf
Easy to find, needs better signage to get you to the pro shop, easy check in, fair price on golf now, carts fair only, no sand for divots, water bucket for our towels, water for us on course, tees fair and sometimes long, fairways with furrows of grass, bunkers with the most soft sand we have played since here, greens putt ok and at least seem pretty smooth, is pretty basic golf but only if price is right
What a gem
Fantastic value, long but fair, needs some pruning of tress to make this a first rate course.
Just another golf day.
The Weather was great and the course was in good condition. Unfortunately , the pace of play led to a 5 hour round.... but I realize that is a hit and miss issue. Staff were super friendly and courteous. Price for the round was reasonable.
Good fround
Good wx, good couse conditions, overall good experience.
Arizona Must- play
Course is in excellent condition and greens running fast. Excellent playability. Hostes at the turn are some of friendliest and engaging. Don't miss an opportunity to play. Staff proffessionalism and helpfullness are refreshing compared to other courses.
Nice condition
Got out early
A little colder than normal
A little wetter than you would like
Balls had mud on them in the fairway
Greens were faster than normal for Francisco
All in all not bad for the price
Rough condition
The course is in fairly poor condition. I know they cater to cheap senior golfers, but I'd love to see them raise prices by $5 a round and apply the extra revenues to getting the course in shape. I'd like to hope that most of their customers would pay another five bucks in order to have decent grass on the fairways, aprons, and greens. Playing it in this condition is just a bad experience.
It was disappointing enough that I will not come back, unless I hear that they've shaped it up. Mission Royale across town is in better condition, in the same general price range on GolfNow.
Long day
Course is in good shape, some fairways are still growing in. Only problem was the pace of play was very bad almost 5 hrs to play 18
The course was in fair condition, there was a few brown spots but realatively green. The course has a sewer smell on holes 10 & 17 Very strong on 17.
We waited on just about every tee boxes, I think they overbook the course, Tee times were 7 minutes apart. They should be more like 9 to 10 minutes apart. The par 3's were backed up by 2 groups waiting ro play.
