Historic Course
Not the prettiest of courses, but historical and aged.
Enjoyable round of golf
Enjoyable round of golfI enjoyed the course layout a lot of elevation change which is unusual for Desert golf in Arizona
It was torture waiting 6 to 8 minutes to hit on every shot. Very painful. 5 and a half hours
Once and done
Course conditions were not good. Some good tee boxes, some terrible...greens had lots of bare spots...staff was excellent...no beverage cart...
Jewel in tge desert!
I had heard about Francisco Grande but never tried it until this past weekend, 12/13/2021. The course went farther than my expectations. Very well groomed tee boxes, fairways, approaches and greens. They have restrooms and water spaced nicely around the course. I had no idea this emerald green course was here in Casa Grande but I will certainly be booking the majority of my future golf here. Yes, the course and hotel have been in Casa Grande for many decades but if you're a golfer, the experience will have you making return reservations to this oasis in the desert! Just 10 minutes West of the Pinal/Florence intersection in town.
As I stated earlier, the course is well maintained but all golfers young and old should repair their fairway divots and greens ball strikes. It's the right thing to do on such a beautiful course.
I will include pictures on my next review!
Enjoy your round!

The resort is dated but course is nice
This course is long but forgiving. Bunkers are hard like most AZ courses but for the hot deal price you really can’t beat it in the winter time.
All around awful
Course itself was bad shape. I played for over 3 hours only made it to hole 11. Had 2 groups of 2 in front of me that would stop and hangout on every tee but not play with each other. Caused game to slow way down. On pace for 5.5 hours for 18 hours on a Saturday. Called warden for rate of play. They didn’t care. Told them the old man in front of me pulled his pener out and peed right in front of me. They didn’t care about that either. Guess they won’t care about this review since they don’t care about giving me a refund. Guy was a peeper because I complained about rate of play but I was playing as a single. I sat at the turn for 30 mins before I was able to tee off. After seeing an old mans pener I was ready to leave.
