About Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort
Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort is a historic hotel, golf course and sports academy 45 minutes south of Phoenix-Scottsdale. The hotel and golf course is on the campus of Grande Sports World, a training destination for youth and national teams. The property was founded by Horace Stoneham, the owner of the San Francisco Giants, and opened in 1959. There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, while guest rooms are standard rooms and suite accommodations. The golf course was designed by Ralph Plummer and can stretch to over 7,500 yards from the championship tees.Facts

Cart Paths
R commend installing dust proof cart paths Dirt was too powdery!!!
Good to Great!!!
Good layout, paid full price and don’t feel the cost justified the actual course. Look for hot deals!!! Staff are very friendly and the course was well groomed. Challenge at an intermediate level and can easily be walked.
needs a little TLC but pretty good
I have played this course several times and each time I see improvement. It is a very nice layout with some really good holes. It is a little bit more undulating than a lot of Arizona courses. The fairways and tee boxes are in god condition. There are a few very wet spots on the course so maybe a sprinkler adjustment might be the key. The greens were fine for the most part but there was some areas that were bare. The bunkers were also pretty good with just the right amount of sand.
The halfway house was open and the service was very good. The starters were both very friendly and kept things organized and running on time. It's a very good deal overall. Check it out.
Friendly staff , course condition is great., pace of play was good. I don’t have one negative comment about our round of golf. More golf courses should be as hospitable as Francisco Grande, we look foreword to going back

staff very accommodating to JR golfers makes the experience excellent
Getting better
Course is coming along, still needs a little work, after a hot summer. No beverage cart, and halfway shack wasn't open.
