Inn at Eagle Mountain

very pretty course with lots of elevation changes,bunkers were good, fairways pretty nice but still some ratty areas, chips don't like to jump up to the green, almost all fairways will bring the ball towards the center from one side, very playable,greens seemed medium speed and you have to keep in mind the mountain effect,staff was very helpful, it helps to play with someone who has played there before,i would only play there in the off season due to cost, and last but not least,this course is not for someone with orthopedic issues, since there is lots of walking up and down severe slopes to and from the greens and some tees

I will seek every opportunity to play here again.
Very beautiful - course, layout, terrain, and the scenic views are fantastic.

The bartender shorted me on change for a twenty by ten dollars. When I pointed it out to her she said what Bill did you pay me with? I told her I gave her a twenty --the only cash I had and she then asked, "are you sure?" We went into the restaurant there to eat after golf and I was then glared at by her the entire time I was there. Rude staff and it appears to me that she was deliberately trying to short change me. I will never return to that course and she should be fired. I would NOT recommend this course. If you choose to golf there and you purchase anything in the bar, watch your change!

This is a fun course, and I highly recommend it. The greens and big and rolling, the course offers some uneven lies at times, and it is some of the best views in the Valley.

Beautiful mountain course! Excellent customer service. Tricky greens. Somewhat "slicer friendly". The views alone are worth the greens fee!

Course. Lay was great. Views. were great, But the fairways were terrible. Patch work on every fairway. Or just bare spots. The signs say we use reclaimed water but I see no sign of the use on the fairways. Not worth the discounted price I paid.

How can you honestly say that this course is in good shape. Out of all the courses we played in Fountain Hills this one was rough. They are always resoding this place and eventually people aren't going to pay the money. Staff was great and food is good.

Have not played here in a few years, but it remains a favorite. Needs some minor repairs to be perfect, but always a fun layoout. It is a strong 4 star

Just a few words to say here.....the staff was amazing from reception to tee. The course is sweet....can't wait to go back.

Really disappointed with the condition of the fairways which were very poor but greens were good. Pace of play on the back 9 was extremely slow. Some nice views but other courses in the area that I would play again before this one. Staff very friendly and helpful with a good pro shop.

Nice layout, no stupid holes, greens were a little slow the day I played, there are some very scenic holes, nice course.

This coarse is very forgiving with almost all the fairways being fish bowled. The greens were in excellent shape. This coarse is ideal for great golfers as well as your most common hacker. An absolute must golf.

I would have to agree with his assesment. The course was unique for the Phoenix area, being situated on a mountainside

Plenty of beautiful holes with fair layouts.

On most fairways the sides are sloped towards the center of the fairway allowing some forgiveability for errant shots.

Large greens with plenty of undulations and multiple levels.

I will certainly come back and play Eagle Mountain the next time I visit the Phoenix area.

Keep in mind that this is a tight course that weaves throughout mountains and is exposed as much as it is protected from winds. The day we golfed, the winds were 20mph, so a high handicapper would have had issues as the course has many elevation changes in conjunction with swirling winds. We made the last tee time thinking we would be fine and be finished before we lost sunshine. Unfortunately we had a group of high handicappers in front of us hitting off the championship tees. Needless to say, we finished the 18th guessing where our balls were after each shot due to darkness. There was no Marshall or any staff at all seen during our 18. From the time we pulled up to the clubhouse and to the first tee, the organization and professionalism was great. After the first tee, it was non-existent. 5.5 hr round was very disappointing. The rest of the course was outstanding. Just ask the staff before you head out if they have marshal's and if not, how to report slow groups. This is not a high handicapper course, recommended for low to mid handicaps.

Was wanting to play this place again really bad for a long time after first playing it in 1998. It was everything I remembered from the first time. Big elevation changes, undulating greens, and wonderful views are all part of the experience. Got a great price on golf now of $79. Had a lot of putts that had HUGE breaks to them. Being on the proper area of the green after hitting approach shots will benefit you greatly

The course fairways are in horrible shape. Never seen so many divots, bear spaces and ground under repair areas on a course. Pace of play was nearly 5 hours. Not worth the $150 greens fee. Better value at other courses.

Very nice course. Good condition, thought it a little pricey after seeing what else was available in the area at a similar or lower walk on price.

This course was a gem. The elevations were incredible, and the conditions were amazing. The greens were quite large, and the fairways were pristine. This course was extremely enjoyable to play with many challenges. I am only here another couple of days and I will attempt to play it again. The price point was perfect too.
