JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

First time playing this course. Well maintained and beautiful layout. Lots and lots of bunkers. Took me awhile to figure out how to hit out of them. Different swing because sand is firmer than usual. Good pace of play and greens are in tip-top condition.

Even though I was on the cart path, cart locked up with message , " can't take cart on tee box". I called pro shop and was told they would send out a new cart. Cart didn't arrive and I had to get person in another group to let me share his cart.

Great resort course, with some desert course conditions mixed in. It’s an expensive course for many but the benefits to experienced golfers is that you don’t have to deal with as many people who don’t play much golf and slow things down excessively.

Overall nice round - last 9 holes wind kicked in but still enjoyable round

Had great day at the Palmer course. Greens were great, overall condition was superb.

Greens were in amazing shape. Holes were fun. Short par fours were cool. Sand was plenty but not impossible.

Overall great course and in very good condition but Bunker (Called sand traps) have no Sand at all

Loads of wilderness including coyotes & co

Will play the Faldo the other days - But Palmer requires straight shots and proper course management

Great course and layout. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend

Great, interesting layout, each hole had something different to challenge us. Course was in excellent shape, staff was Marriott friendly, can't go wrong.

Course was in great condition. Pace of play was wonderful. Typical desert golf course. Balls were playable when easily found off fairways. Starter told us all the fairways were right in front of us. He was right, but the course was too boring. Straight out fairways. No signature, fun to play holes. Par 3's were boring.

Friendly staff. Course in great shape. Will play again.
