Great conditions, tough course
Long fairways and tees with a few carries needed. Wonderful conditions. Beautiful views.
Great conditions for the summer
Always a pleasure playing this course. They’ve done an excellent job of maintaining the course during the summer and it shows. A very fun track that is made for distance.
Ambiente
Course is always in pretty solid shape in the summer. Late tee time but still could be a little cheaper but that's just what you get in PV. Greens are always so nice in summer though, since they don't overseed them in the winter. One of my fav courses to play in the summer.
Phenomenal Condition
The course was in peak shape. Really enjoyed the round and the company. We did have a few slow playing groups ahead of us, but got the round in just in time before the haboob hit.
Great experience
Staff was beyond amazing. Course was in great shape. It was myself, another single and 2 members. We finished 18 in under 3.5 hours as the first group out. Will definitely be back when I’m in town again!
Great shape
We have played this course a couple times in the past. We have never been disappointed in the course but this year, it is in the best shape ever .
Love this course!
Love the course and the overall facility! Great shape for AZ summer and can't wait to be back!
Great conditions
I let some young guys talk me into playing from the tips. The day was hot as heck! I still beat them by over 10 strokes. For the price, the course played so well. Everything was great and it took us around 3 1/2 hours.
Great Course, great condition
The course was in great shape and the pace or of play was fantastic. Can’t wait to get back and play here again.
Beautiful Links
Great course! Really maintained well even in the middle of the summer! It's expensive but gorgeous
No Water!
The title is actually a bit of a misnomer. There was water on the course, but it is water fountains every three holes, and the water is hot! When I made the turn after hole nine, I swung by the starter/cart return and no one was there to get ice or bottled water. And the snack shack was not open. Other than that, it was a great time. I love this course!
Overpriced. Lousy conditions. Poor service.
Condition: Tee boxes & fairways were inconsistent. Some were wet & mushy, some were sandy & grainy, and some had crabgrass all over. The rough & fairway around the greens were aweful; dried compacted dirt with more crabgrass. The greens were actually pretty nice though; receptive and fast.
Layout: Unimpressive. It felt like a slightly improved municiple course. Definitely not worth what we paid. There are many courses nearby with better layouts in much better condition that charge less.
Service: Bag boys, proshop attendee & beverage cart were all friendly & helpful. Starter & ranger were unprofessional & rude. Everyone in my group arrived about 20-30 min before our tee time. Starter came up to our cart as we were getting ready to head to the first tee & said we were “on the tee box & running late”. This was 9 minutes before our tee time as we were about to pull away anyways. As we drove by him on our way up, he said “we need you guys to hurry up & play fast today” as if it had been a problem before. *We’ve never played here before and, when we got to the first tee, we had to wait for the group in front us. On the course, the ranger hounded us every time he drove by. We finished right behind the group infront of us & played in 3:50, which for a Saturday on a public course, is pretty good & well under their expected pace of play.
If you want to be overcharged, harassed by staff & play a dog track with nice greens, this is the course for you.
