Great Course
Staff was super! In the proshop at the golfcart pick up and the beverage gal can't say enough! The greens were well kept! Look forward to playing here again!
Great Course Not So Great Price
I love this course, but when summer rates in AZ should be in play, I feel like $150 for a round is on the high side of things. The problem is not Camelback, it’s the cost to play everywhere is the problem. I played here because for an extra $30 you get a way more enjoyable track to play on. Sure I’m getting older but the cost of golf has resulted in me golfing, once a month when I’ve used to golf 3-4 times a month. Sticker shock is a real thing.
Slow!
Pace of play was horrible! 5 hours! Last time I played there it was the same way, they have to figure it out. It is one of our favorite courses, but the pace is awful especially in the heat! If they want people to play in the hot weather they need to enforce pace!
Sunday round
Great time, tee’d off at 7:30 could not have been more perfect, pace of play was unbelievable, 3-1/2 hour rounds are the best but the fun is over to soon!
Great track and great price
Must’ve got out on the best day possible but we were the only ones out there, paid a relatively low price, staff was awesome and conditions were pure. Can’t beat that summer golf.
Fun course to play
Fun day! This is a course that I have been wanting to play. The holes layouts were challenging. The t boxes and green were in good shape as well as bunkers had sand. The fairways looked nice but for a sunny day, were wet. Maybe some over watering since the fairways were cut short. I would play again but too pricy for the cost.
Average PV course
Built in a a wash the layout on a long out and back .. no "turn" at the clubhouse for hole 9. The wash/water/hazard is always to your right. So if you are right-hander battling a slice or lefty hooking it.. this fact could make for a long day and several lost balls. Lots of subtle undulation in the fairways makes for fun shot making to avoid some pretty penal green side bunkers. Greens were in great shape. Effectively no trees or shade of any sort so as summer looms it's understandably fast and in areas the turf was pretty crispy.
Great course
I thought the course was great. My only complaint would be that some of the holes are much too long. At least four or five or 375 or longer from the Whiteys move those tees up for a better experience for your modest and senior golfers. Still had a great time.
