Golfing at Camelback
We enjoyed playing Camelback. The course was beautiful, the staff was friendly! We had breakfast in the restaurant that was delicious!
A Great Day On The Padre Course
Lunch in the clubhouse before golf. Excellent practice facilities. Pace of play was less than four hours. That may be a result of the ten minute tee time intervals. A great staff especially the "Bag Drop" team and "Starter". Some of the sand in a few of the fairway bunkers could be softer.
Always great
The professional and friendly approach to customers is unsurpassed. The employees at Camelback add to the fact that the courses are always in great shape and the designs are playable for every level of player.
Terrific layout
The staff are all exceptional. The layout allows players of all levels to enjoy their round. Pace of play was terrific the day I played. One of the very best experiences I have had in the Phoenix area
Ambiente
Fun course, interesting and challenging. Staff are always friendly.
Practice area
Surprised to see NO grass on the practice tee. Usually one of the better amenities, but certainly not yesterday.
Great course and not easy !
The course was in great condition and have very nice complimentary drining range and practice area. The starter was fantastic ! Very friendly and welcoming ! Padre course is between houses, so you need to be careful not to make errand shots. Also, you must look carefully on landing area otherwise your ball will easily run into water or sand. Typical Arthur Hills design ! The course looks easy but tricky. All in all, this is one of must play course in AZ. Highly recommand.
Love this course. But for the price it would get 5 stars
Great course
Fairways were lush. Greens rolled true. Sand and water everywhere. Just a super great course.
Great cours.
T offs were pristine, greens hard but playable. Rough is long and challenging
Fun Course
Played Ambiente on a Sunday afternoon as a 3-some. Pace of play was great right at 4 hours which I can't ask for more than that. I enjoyed the layout and the views and the proximity to where I am staying near Fashion Mall. The condition left a little bit to be desired... greens were much slower than expected and inconsistent. Also, there was crabgrass-type stuff growing around the 1-2 feet perimeter of most bunkers. All-in with fees I paid under $200 at peak season and on a weekend so I'll live with that anytime, but at the full price $350-400 it would have been a little more disappointing to see. Assuming they fix these conditions, this course would be one of my favorites in the area.
