Course in great shape for summertime. Only saw the beverage cart once in 4 1/2 hours in 100's. Put your towels in the ice chest. Helps a ton.

Every time I return to Tucson I make sure to play this desert classic. Its beauty is topped by the challenging layout. The staff is always friendly and the bar and grill following the round never disappoints!

Layout excellent, Bunkers hardpan with lot of rocks, bunkers need sand. A lot of cut grass on the course. I recommend the course.

Wowweee. The guys I played with said that Rattler is the most difficult 9 in Tucson and I see why.

Pretty narrow and easy to send balls into the abyss. There are 3 Nines here. Palmer is the short one. The tees are crazy. We played blue, and I thought it was long but I’m not that great at golf. I drive 220-240 and couldn’t imagine playing back to the silvers, black or the tips (gold). But if you want the challenge and can drive 250+ then you’ll love it.

I’m a 20 so this was very challenging for me. But the course is BEAUTIFUL. as good as any Scottsdale desert course. Lots of elevation changes as well.

Wildlife EVERYWHERE. Deer, Javelina, Coyotes, Horned Lizards, Roadrunners, Rabbits. Literally had to watch out for dangerous situations but none happened. I did get a little too close to some baby piggies while looking for a ball that only went 2 yards left of the fairway and had to give up on that one.

Great courses (Rattler/Coyote) and well worth it.

As usual the course was fabulous. Staff always friendly. Great summer rate.

First time playing here. Loved it. This course is not beginner friendly. It will eat you alive if you don’t strike the ball well. The layout and uniqueness of every hole is perfection. Conditions 9/10. Fringes were getting work done so they were understandably a little rough. Can’t wait to come back.

If you're higher than a 15 handicap, bring extra golf balls!! Each hole is a new challenge. You'll use most of your clubs on this course!

The course was in great shape! Usually when it’s this hot it can get some burn spots but it was perfect. The greens were soft but fast and true. We played in the mid to late afternoon and you can’t beat the rate right now for this nice of a course. I’ll be back soon

Tough course but fair ! Like the combination of the two nines!

Course was in great shape. We had a little issue with pace of play that was quickly handled once we made the staff aware. Had a fantastic plate of cantina nachos after the round! Great staff.

Had a foursome Friday afternoon on Starr Pass.

First nine was played by our foursome in 1 hour and 30 minutes without rushing.. Two players were single handicap and two were low double digits.

Once we turned the second nine we came upon a foursome with an additional 3-4 year old child chipping and putting on every hole. It was obvious that we were waiting on every shot but group didn’t offer for us to play through. Wasn’t worth confronting as you could tell they had no course etiquette. No marshalls as there was no one on the course. Two twosomes caught up with us on hole 3. Finished second nine in 3 hours after skipping the eighth hole and went to play the ninth. Pro shop closed when we finished and cart guys were no where to be seen, so I called the next morning and they said SORRY, should have called in from the course. I thought about that but also thought that might cause an escalation, considering the people we were playing behind. Turned a good experience into a bad one.

Starr Pass plays tough, regardless of what tees you play. The condition is almost always very good. It is in really great shape right now for early summer in Tucson.

Course was in really good shape, especially in June with 100 plus degree temperatures. Greens were soft and made ball marks consistently when I hit the greens. Just a really good course in good shape.

Miss the BBQ they use to have not to say the BBQ therenow is bad it's just that the BBQ before was outstanding.
