Legacy Golf Resort

Very nice fun layout and course design, Pure tees, fairways and greens. Some bunkers needed more sand and washed out…. All property staff were kind and respectful aseelll accommodating to our needs. Beverage and bar restaurants staff were great. It was an Awesome Day!

This is my second time playing this course in 2 days. I love the course. It was in excellent condition. The staff is great. But the pace of play was very slow. Overall I enjoyed it but it did take 4 and 1/2 hours.

I played the course for the first time on July 30, 2025. The course was in excellent condition. The fairways were very forgiving. The greens were in great condition and the ball rolled true. Pace of play was good and I really enjoyed the course layout.

Legacy is one of the best Desart course layouts. The fairways are always green. The only issue with this course is the bunkers. The bunkers don’t have sand in them is more like a hard clay dirt. If they fix the bunker it would be the best public course in the valley.

everything was great except the bunkers need to be more consistent, some have little or no sand

This is my 6th or 7th time playing this course. For the quality of the golf course, the price during the summer is unbeatable. Issues with pace of play on occasion, typically finish 20 minutes behind pace of play on a weekend. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are always in good conditions for the summer heat. On course restrooms are clean. Greens can be hard and bumpy from time to time, but not unplayable. The only complaint I have with the course are the sand traps, which is misleading in itself. The last thing I would call the material in the bunkers is sand. It is typically hard clay with small rocks interspersed in various places. You can hit out of them without risking damage to your clubs, but the bunkers are hard and compact clay. I've never played during the fall/winter seasons, so they may actually have sand in them at other points of the year.

I knew the greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago, but they are still in pretty rough shape. Some of the fairways are immaculate and others are a little rough. Overall a good value for $50-$60.
