15th Hole, Par 3 Photo submitted by tomumps2000 on 01/25/2013
Great Course
Once of my favorite courses. Course is in great shape, pace of play was excellent.
Great summer buy!
fun track, good variety
everything was great except the bunkers need to be more consistent, some have little or no sand
Excellent Golf for the Price
This is my 6th or 7th time playing this course. For the quality of the golf course, the price during the summer is unbeatable. Issues with pace of play on occasion, typically finish 20 minutes behind pace of play on a weekend. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are always in good conditions for the summer heat. On course restrooms are clean. Greens can be hard and bumpy from time to time, but not unplayable. The only complaint I have with the course are the sand traps, which is misleading in itself. The last thing I would call the material in the bunkers is sand. It is typically hard clay with small rocks interspersed in various places. You can hit out of them without risking damage to your clubs, but the bunkers are hard and compact clay. I've never played during the fall/winter seasons, so they may actually have sand in them at other points of the year.
Great course
Nice lay out, well taken care of, don’t know why it took me so long to play here. Can't wait to go back
Needs sand
Course was in decent shape, greens were a little bumpy as expected, but the bunkers lacked sand and were filled with hard compacted dirt
Greens are still bumpy
I knew the greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago, but they are still in pretty rough shape. Some of the fairways are immaculate and others are a little rough. Overall a good value for $50-$60.
Great summer value
Summer in AZ is always tough with course conditions. They had punched recently so a little bumpy on the greens. Fairways were great, bunkers were very thin.
Overall great time, needs about week before greens are back to running well!
Couse is in Great Shape
A lot of courses are in really bad shape this summer. This place was in great shape. Greens were punched a bit ago and still showed a little sign, but were puttable and not that bad at all. I would go back in a heartbeat.
The Legacy played 6/28/25 at 7:56AM
grass in fairway this time, grass on green fringe this time. Played Black 6300 yards. Course lets single riders own cart; carts have GPS
Bad bunkers
The coarse was ok but the money they charge during prime season and the bunkers are half dirt and hard as a rock. If open your club face and try to hit it out your club just bounces and you wind up hitting it over the green so you have to play a square face and chunk and run the shot or rake the spot under your ball the best you can to hit a normal shot but it’s so hard that you can’t even do that hardly. Pretty sad.
