About Legacy Golf Resort

Legacy Golf Resort, operated by Shell Holidays, is located just south of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This resort features the 18-hole Legacy Golf Club, designed by Gary Panks and home to a full practice facility and golf instruction and academy. The resort features 328 suites set in a Spanish mission-style theme and units feature either kitchens or kitchenettes, washer-dryers, patios or balconies and large living areas. There is an outdoor pool with cabanas and an outdoor bar, tennis courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, BBQ area and children's playground. Dining is available at the golf club.

Great Round

Monsoon

Huge rainstorm came through Thursday night and Maricopa received 3+ inches of rain. The course was closed on Friday but open Saturday morning. The maintenance crew did a great job of getting this course back open and we’re diligently working on getting water pumped out and erosion repaired. The course was better than expected, considering the conditions. Great job maintenance crew.

Legacy coming back from punch

Greens were almost there, tee boxes good and fairways were generally in excellent condition. Remember when summer rates were 1/2 of now but only going to go up with tariffs.
