Fun executive course
My wife and I played this course recently and had the same fun experience that we did last year. Mountain Shadows is a great par three course(with a couple par 4 holes). The staff, both in the clubhouse and outside were great, very friendly and informative. Course was somewhat easy but in good shape. Fun course for young and old.
This is a well conditioned challenging executive course
It is good value with a friendly and accommodating staff.
We rode due to partner's requirements but it's an easy walk.
Very nice course!
Played this course with three girlfriends as our warm up round during our week long golf trip. Lovely course with beautiful views and well maintained. Service was excellent and pace of play was great - less than three hours to play. Would definitely return!
Challenging short course
Overall a great course with very fast greens. Only two holes that you will use your driver. Chipping and putting will be the theme of the round. Thanks
Excellent Executive Course
Well maintained course, with some challenging par 3's. Nice facility with pleasant staff.
Good value if you can get a green fee for under $40.
Gem!
what a beautiful little course. Great scenery, great staff, good food and good greens. Only negative is the small sign at the entrance making it a little hard to spot as the course is hidden from view by landscaping . Definitely going back.
A nice public city course
Arrived and had a great check in. No problems, a little surprised that they charged $8 for a bag of range balls. No driver or woods short range. just short irons. Let on time on #1. Pace of play slow but steady, what you would expect on a Sunday on Public course. Refreshment cart came around frequently and the girl was friendly.
fun and appealing
great course for snow birds and older retired folks..
Type of course
The course was nice, but no where did it indicate it was a par 3 course. We were disappointed when we got there it was a par 3 course.
Best Executive play in ARIZONA
I play here several times a year and enjoy it for several reasons. The scenery is spectacular, the coarse is in great condition and it is fun, fun, fun. This coarse has really helped my short game and made me a better golfer.
Not worth the money!
The staff skipped us in favor of members. We booked a tee time and people (members) with later tee times went ahead of us.
snubbed
Three of us drove over from Apache Junction to play the course. We had a 12:10 tee time and were advised by the inside staff that they had made up the frost delay and were back on time. While we waited the starters conspired to move later scheduled groups ahead of us. We got our money back and had a great afternoon of golf at Starfire which I would highly recommend.
Simply amazing course
The course the staff the condition ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Like the Course
I liked the course but the greens were furry, not manicured well and slow.
Just Great
Hit straight or bring your beach blanket. Lightening fast greens. Beautiful Mountain views.
Great little course
This course has something for everyone. It's short but challenging.
Great course
Friendly people
The course is in excellent shape.
Great value
Nice little course
If you want to work on your irons off the tee, this is the course for it. Very nice and well kept course through a lovely neighborhood.
Beautiful day on a fun course
We really enjoyed our round, and were fortunate to golf with a terrific gent. Greens are fast, so challenged to pay attention. Hit my best game in this past year. General grounds condition is 8 out of ten.
Snowbirds just arrived, and once again wanted a good 18 hole course to start off our winter season.
Went for late lunch, food was excellent, and we are very fussy. Thank you .
See you again soon.
Excellent Course
The best course I have played in a long time. The course was beautifully manicured. The fairways were tight requiring accuracy. The greens were medium to small, very fast but smooth as glass, very few unrepaired ball marks. Sand traps were well placed and held loose sand that actually played like a sand trap instead of a cement slab. The vistas on the north side of Camelback mountain were awesome. Will play this course again. The personnel were very friendly, helpful and exuded a happy spirit. We were treated like royalty. Great, Great, Great.
