Omni Tucson National Resort
About Omni Tucson National Resort
Omni Tucson National Resort is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, having formerly hosted the PGA Tour. The resort has just 128 guest rooms and suites, making it a more boutique experience compared to some of the larger Tucson golf resorts. There are two very different, 18-hole golf courses onsite. The original Catalina Course opened in 1962 with the resort and is more classically parkland in nature. The Sonoran Course is newer, designed by Tom Lehman, and more of a desert-style layout. Guests can dine at casual Legends Bar & Grill or enjoy fine dining at Bob's Steak & Chop House. Off the golf course, guests can enjoy lighted tennis course, spa, 24-hour fitness center and sand volleyball courts.Facts

#16 plays fairly steeply uphill. I was 16 inches for a birdie, after hitting a solid 135 club from 109 out. Photo submitted by Jonathan5270953 on 08/14/2013

Tucson Omni Golf
This course is in outstanding condition. The staff was very accommodating. Would love to play it again.
Fun Sonora course
Fun course. Being paired up with strangers on the same cart is a poor rule at this club and for the game. Especially at slower times. Unfortunately some of the staff and other golfers/members aren’t very friendly about letting you take your own cart.
course Marings
Was hard t find a couple holes on the course because of poor or no direction markings.
Gone downhill
Fairways are poor. Don't waste your money. El Con is in much better condition.
Pretty cool place
Staff was friendly from the bag drop area ,pro shop to the outdoor starter. Played with three members who were very nice and helpful as it was my first time there. Bunkers were pretty decent as well as the tee tops. Greens were quick but fair. Only real problem I really saw were some various dry spots throughout the fairways and that was basically throughout the entire course. For a resort style course with those kind of conditions, maybe a little overpriced. They could probably drop their prices a little bit more.
Not worth the price
The facility was great and the layout and greens were quite challenging. Greens rolled great. Fairways were not in good condition. Very splotchy grass. There are much better options in Tucson for half the price.
Great course & layout
Fun course to play, lots of different holes layout and a good challenge. Only little thing was the fairways were dry so had to move the ball a lot to find nicer grass but since it didn’t rain in weeks, not the course’s foult. Played with the amazing members (Ron, Ron and Brian) who caddied me all day, telling me where to hit and read the greens. Oversll just a great expérience and would definitly recommand.
Great course!
We played both courses and loved both of them! Staff was great! We were treated very well from Joe in the pro shop, the starter and Norm the marshal. We will definitely go back!
VACATION GET AWAY
COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE, AWSOME VIEWS. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY
Beautiful mountain and valley views!
Tough but fair layout and the course was in great condition! The shop stuff could brush up on their friendliness and rapport building with guests/visitors. When you pay a premium rate, one would hope a little level of excitement to have us there. The cart guy was more excited to see us and friendlier than the guys in the Pro Shop. Regardless, it was a memorable day and experience. Thanks!
What a Gorgeous Course!
Played the Sonoran course on Halloween. Course was in great shape, greens were immaculate, fairways were in great shape, and the course simply has so many fun and different holes - no risk of it getting repetitive. Price is higher than other courses we played in the Tucson area, but worth every penny. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and we simply had a great day. Really hope to play the Catalina course next time we're in Tucson.
