About Quintero Golf Club

Quintero Golf Club, located about an hour northwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, is one of the most scenic golf courses in the Valley of the Sun. While generally a daily-fee course, it does have a small handful of casita rentals for stay-and-play packages. These casitas, located within the community's Entrada properties, feature two large bedrooms with full bathrooms each, and a private patio with the option for outdoor dining. The executive Loft has a large living area with pool table. Guests have access to the Quintero pool, jacuzzi and grilling area. Located in the Hieroglyphic Mountains, Quintero Golf Club was designed by Rees Jones and is a popular pick for the best golf course in the valley. Within 15 minutes is the Lake Pleasant Marina and Scorpion Bay Marina.

Beautiful

Course was wet due to over seeding— it was cart path only—didn’t know it at the time of booking— good thing we are physically fit —

Tried to cancel (wanted to play November 11th) mistaken reservation for the 27 of October….no answer!!!

I tried to cancel immediately on the 26th when I realized my mistake but didn’t get a response from Golf Pass. I tried directly to the Wickenburg golf next morning about 3-4 hours before « my tee off » reserved for 12:10 but didn’t get any answer. I guess they have charged me…I am 70 years old and sometimes I am not as concentrated as I used too (especially at night on my tablet). I am from Canada (Montreal) and will leave to Tucson on the 4th of November till the 15th. So I got a two for one…2 x 150$ usd for my reservation on the 11th…😲

Fantastic Layout, Fairways/Greens Excellent & Bunkers Horrific

Quintero is one of my favorite golf courses. Grass was in superb condition, especially for late summer in the Phoenix area. Awesome Rees Jones design. Pace of play was really good as well. Only negative were the sand bunkers, which were almost completely devoid of soft sand so it was practically impossible to get your sand wedge under the ball. Had to chip out.

Hidden Gem

I recommend this course to everyone. With so many tee boxes all levels of golfers can play here. It’s worth the drive and the the price. Once you see and play this track you will want to come back again and again.

Excellent value

Wonderful course with nice layout. Fair, yet challenging. Biggest issue I had was that people are not repairing ball marks on greens. For this caliber of course, that is unacceptable

Great atmosphere!

Still a little overpriced for August and how far away from the city it is. Course was in great shape for August, no dead spots in fairways. Tough course with lots of O.B. plus the crazy amount of bunkers. Definitely didn’t score close to my GHIN number. Bring extra golf balls! Beautiful course, not sure I’d pay the peak season rate, great experience no less.

Loud Doorbell Chime

The course is in great shape especially considering it is summer. The greens roll true. The GPS on the carts will "ping" with a message to remind you to fix your ball marks. There are several greens with multiple ball mark scars. Honestly people if you are to lazy or can't bend over to fix your ball mark then don't play and ruin the experience for other people. Despite the scars the greens putted smoothly. The GPS will also sound out with a loud "doorbell warning chime" at times. I kept saying "come in" but no one ever did. The carts have GPS and an ice chest with two bottles of water. There is also a couple of comfort stations with water and ice. Other than the two inconsiderate idiots who jumped nearly a half hour ahead of their tee time to get in front of me and played from the wrong tees and slow, the experience was excellent.
