Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Pristine course

The course is in a great condition. Facilities could be improved and carts are almost bare minimum. It is a far trip in the middle of nowhere, but for golf itself it’s worthy.

Quintero GC

this is a beautiful course, with friendly employees. The course and practice facilities are top notch. The group in front of us were slow, did not rake traps or fix divots. Directions to leave #18 and get back to the “clubhouse” could be improved. Ball washers on the carts would be appreciated since there are none on the course. I would definately return for the golf at the right price

Desert Oasis

This was my fourth time playing Quintero and it has never disappointed. The course layout is exceptional, you have to bring your A game or you’ll end up in the side of a cactus or at the bottom of a ravine. The greens played quick and I struggled with my putter, but that was my own fault. They placed new sand in the bunkers recently, which were in beautiful condition. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and they even brought around cookies during our round, which was a nice touch. It’s a ways off the beaten path but well worth the trip. I’ll be back.

Great course conditions as always. Ran in to a slow day...on a thursday afternoon it was a slow 4h 50min round, with having to wait on every shot since hole2 all the way till the finish,

Rude staff

This is a great course with a great layout, but the experience was overshadowed by extremely poor staff conduct. Doug, the course marshal, was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, completely detracting from our round. Even more disappointing was Mark, the head golf pro, who borderline defended Doug’s behavior by referencing an alleged pace-of-play standard that was never made known to us. We were told we were 17 minutes behind—less than a minute per hole—which does not excuse the disrespectful way our group was treated. Management’s response was as frustrating as the incident itself.

Best loop in the area

Super great course very challenging. Downside is new bunkers with shallow sand around the greens. Big money to play but worth it!

$100 rider fee !!!

Course is in fantastic condition , it’s obvious why it gets on the top courses in Arizona every year . Super fun , challenging, with breathtaking views . My wife rode with me and they charged $100 which is absurd . No high end courses do that .

Hadn’t been here in a couple years, definitely a must play at least once.Course is in great condition and the staff couldn’t have been better,I think I lost count at 10 times I was thanked for coming out.Easy drive out here,a little pricey still, miss the troon card on these more expensive golf courses but definitely worth the time to come and play at least once.

Fun Course, Scenic, greens and tee boxes not the best

Tee boxes and greens were kinda beat up. Nobody seems to fix their ball marks here. Fairways were in good shape and the views are nice. Starter had a bad attitude which never goes well for me. Pace was decent especially after frost delay. I recommend this course if you can score a deal.

Love Quinterro

Overall, one of my favourite golf courses in the Phoenix area. Great layout, conditions are always good, great range, staff is always friendly, lots of tee box options that players can choose from but there are a few things that need to be improved. First, the bunkers are bordering on disrepair and neglect and need to be Revitalized with new sand and rock removal. Second, the pace of place is always an issue. You cannot tee off on this golf course any later than 1 o'clock and hope to finish in daylight and I think this is due to the fact that the layout is punishing and people play from the wrong tees. Third, the rack rate is extremely high and does not properly reflect the course that you were going to play. The maximum anybody should have to pay to play on this track should be $200 or less. Finally, the food and beverage is pretty much nonexistent, even though the staff is quite friendly on course.

A truly special place

Too start the staff is amazing from the bag drop to the front desk. Great information to start about the best way to maximize your experience. The start crew is friendly and kind. They really want you to enjoy your experience, a lot of starters only care about pace of play and the rules. These guys get that information to you without a lecture.

Carts are set up nice. They are slow but that’s ok because if they were any faster everyone would run off the mountain.

The cart staff is amazing. Ashley steals the show, they come around a lot.

The course is first rate. The recent money and upgrades they put in really shows. The bunkers are the best in Arizona by a mile. Par 3 are great for each tee box. Take your friends it’s worth it.

First time since Renovations

Had another great day at Quintero. Played with some first timers who really enjoyed the course as well. The greens were completely redone over the summer, and have come in nicely. There are a few where you can see the sod lines, but most were in great condition. Some near the end of the round were getting a bit rough, but were still rolling very fast but true.
