About Quintero Golf Club

Quintero Golf Club, located about an hour northwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, is one of the most scenic golf courses in the Valley of the Sun. While generally a daily-fee course, it does have a small handful of casita rentals for stay-and-play packages. These casitas, located within the community's Entrada properties, feature two large bedrooms with full bathrooms each, and a private patio with the option for outdoor dining. The executive Loft has a large living area with pool table. Guests have access to the Quintero pool, jacuzzi and grilling area. Located in the Hieroglyphic Mountains, Quintero Golf Club was designed by Rees Jones and is a popular pick for the best golf course in the valley. Within 15 minutes is the Lake Pleasant Marina and Scorpion Bay Marina.

Special golf course

Quintero is a gem. Very beautiful, well maintained and no two holes feel the same. I try to play this course every time I get to Scottsdale. It is well worth the 40 minute drive.

Stunning course

Though the weather was hot the beauty of this course made you forget about it . WOW what a picturesque course and was in great shape . I've played on some nice courses but this is the best one . If you are a straight hitter you will be in good shape . Everything was first class and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Loved this course !!

My favorite Arizona course

If you live in Arizona or are planning a visit, playing Quintero is a must! I golf year round and this place is at the top of my list. Nothing beats a desert course and it is so much fun to play. Once you play, you will see why it is a top 100 course.

Best golf course in Arizona!

Best golf course in Arizona! It is the perfect mix of a fun challenging golf course and the desert landscape is hard to beat. A group of my friends and I stayed at the luxury condos on property and had a private chef make the most amazing food. Truly an amazing experience overall.

Best in the West

Quintero was the last "west valley" course I needed to try and it did not disappoint. The greens are shockingly good for this time of year and the fairways had very minimal burned spots. This golf course is a second shot course, the fairways are wide and forgiving but you better be precise with your approach. Great layout with a few very elevated par 3s. If I had to give some criticism it would be the bunkers. They had some decent sized pebbles in them and could use some more sand. Also this course is in the middle of nowhere, so plan accordingly. Will absolutely be back.

WOW!

Where to start? The setting is fantastic. Secluded, quiet--there are only a few times you may be made aware of other golfers anywhere nearby. The layout is challenging, so don't expect to come here for your first visit and "go low". It's probably too hard (some of the bunkers are brutal), but I enjoy a good test.

Visually the course is stunning, with lots of elevation changes and undulations. The greens are tough--fast, but fair. One surprise, lots of un-repaired ball marks. This isn't a cheap course and I'd expect better etiquette.

I love the water and ice stations, which are an ice and water machine, so you never roll up to an empty water jug. (It was 110 F today) But there is only one per side, so fill up when they appear!

The practice facility is top notch, but arrive early for your round if you plan to take advantage. It's got to be 1.5 miles from the pro shop.

This course should high on your to-do list!

Perfect Day of Golf

Just an absolute gem of a place to play golf. Lucky we had tempts from 85 degrees the whole round. The course layout was amazing. Just simply a beautiful and challenging course just 25 min away from my house. Picturesque views, well though of holes sculpted into the natural desert landscape. Our rount was never delayed or pressured thanks to Adam mainting flow of play. Definitely one of my top 3 courses in AZ I’ve played. Chef Tony and staff with the slider/tots combo was super legit! Thank you for a pleasurable experience.

Fantastic Golf Experience!

We play Quintero during our annual golf trip to Scottsdale and need to play it more often! It was hot (summer AZ Golf) but worth the experience. You've got to try out this hidden gem.

One of my favorite courses in Greater Phoenix

I really like this challenging golf course, as it is always in top condition. The greens are a little slower in the Summer which makes them more receptive and which improves scoring. It is a 45-minute drive for me, so I only play there once or twice per month. Troon North and Boulders are in my backyard so I have other good choices. Quintero’s biggest challenges are it’s uphill holes with elevated greens. Be sure to pay attention to the course slope rating rather than the total yardage to select your tees maximize your golf experience. The day we played was slow due to a group of 16 seniors who were playing the course for the first time. It took 5+ hours, which is about an hour longer than I have ever experienced here before. The Marshall tried to light a fire under them but they were staying on the grounds for a few days so he didn’t want to run them off. We were given free beers and a discount golf coupon for our inconvenience, and I will continue to be a regular customer.

Great course but slow pace of play

Great day and my first time but will be back again soon. One foursome held up play for the entire course but we still had a great time and will for sure be back!
