About Rancho de los Caballeros
Located in the historic western town of Wickenburg, Rancho de los Caballeros is a luxury dude ranch set on 20,000 Sonoran Desert acres that is open seasonally from October thru May. It offers stay-and-play golf packages with the next door Los Caballeros Golf Club, a past recipient of the Golf Advisor Golfer's Choice U.S. Top 50. Rancho de los Caballeros offers authentic ranch activities from hikes with a naturalist to skeet and trap shooting. Jeeps, ATVs, horseback riding and more are all available on the expansive property. The property has 67 guest rooms and 12 suites and offers meeting space and team-building programs. The Kids Club has western activities in the morning and at night and babysitting is also available. Wickenburg is located about an hour northwest of Phoenix-Scottsdale and is home to a small collection of excellent golf courses, including Los Caballeros and Wickenburg Ranch.Facts

Fun
It was the first time playing Los Caballeros for the other 3 players. We all struggled with our shots being short, so we didn't score that great. The views and terrain made up for the scores and we all enjoyed playing there. We didn't have anyone in front of us and played in just under 4 hours.

We played a few years back, it was OK, They have really upped their game.
Course was in great shape, pure and fast greens. Great value.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone not only for the course which is in fantastic condition but also for the scenery around the course. Great layout with 5 sets of tees that will provide enjoyment & challenge to any player regardless of skill level. Wonderful staff & good pace of play. Worth the trip from anywhere in the valley.

No waiting!
We got paired up with another twosome this morning. Nice guys and we played in 3.5 hours! It would have been helpful to have a cart girl out there since it was very hot today! There was plenty of water out on the course though! The course was in great condition!

Good conditions for summer
First time playing here and the staff was excellent in all respects. The course has some "summer skin" showing, but overall pretty good conditions. The greens (except a couple) are in fantastic shape, hold the ball well and putt true. Will go back again and again. I am sure the course conditions will improve in the fall when the over seed.

Some bare spots on the fairways and the greens were very overwatered

Los Cabellaros is a pleasure to play and a good test!
The more I play this course the more I like it. The staff is always friendly and professional. Pace of play has been great the last couple times, however it's just not very crowded on Arizona courses during the summer. The course has good diversity and you will get a chance to use most of the clubs in your bag. It was in good shape for the time of year.

Soft Greens
They are keeping their bent grass greens moist to make it through the summer without brown out so any ball hit to the green was holding very well. Love the layout, some short open holes, some tight holes, a couple of water holes that you better pay attention to as they are not readily apparent and seven holes on the back nine are uphill and play longer than the yardage. And the sand was soft. This place is very busy in the winter season but is a joy right now.

Love playing Los C.’setting is beautiful and staff is outstanding! Only pet peeve is charging for range balls. Just a small annoyance. Just build it into the price.
