Not the hardest course or best conditioned course but ,bar none, the most scenic I’ve ever played…

Suggestion for management: for the price, a yardage booklet should be included (and not $10) as the GPS is not ‘touch screen’ and there are a number of ‘target golf’ holes…

Enjoyed playing this track. It was in great shape. Greens where larger than what your eye sees. I did not care for the long distance between holes but expected in this type of resort courses. I bought two 12oz beers from the beverage cart, 24.00 dollars plus a tip. 12.00 a beer! I would reccomend BYOB.

Course was in great condition. Definitely on the more challenging side. Tricky fairways and big punishment for missing them. Bring lots of water. There is very little water stations and none provided in cart.

Played in the middle of summer. Fairways were a bit crusty. Greens were in good shape. Played behind a foursome and were waiting on every shot. Ranger came up to us on the tenth tee and put us ahead of this group. Played the back nine very quickly. Staff at the Boulders were very friendly and helpful. Driving range was in good shape.

The course was beautiful, fairways in great shape, greens were very good to putt on. I would play it again.

This course is beautiful. It’s a shame that they feel they need to price gouge on alcohol. I left feeling like I watched a diamondbacks game. Great experience aside from the price gouging around alcohol.

Love the layout, staff and even in summer good conditions. To be a 10 out of 10 they need to add some water coolers. Having only 1 water spot per 9 in summer is pretty poor in my opinion.

Greens were in good shape but the fairways were rough and dry. Had several temporary tee boxes, but hey it’s that time of year. Overall a nice track

would help to have a marshal on the course

we had to stop our round at 13 holes because the group in front of us was so slow in a very hot day.

after passing them we noticed there wasn’t another group in front for three holes.

I expected the Hot day with a 11:50 am tee time in Arizona, but the pace was ridiculously slow. It took 4.30 minutes to finish 18. Need a Marshall or someone driving around every once in a while to move groups along. It is a beautiful course and the views are outstanding. Be ready for some target golf in the desert.

I've played the Boulders before and always considered it a fine course. Sadly this last time was really bad. No notice was given to golfers that two thirds of all of the tee boxes were under construction and temporary tee boxes were set up, some almost 100 yards forward on holes. The course should be shut down for something this extensive or at least let golfers know prior to paying and driving all the way there. I was unable to use my driver more than a couple of times. I would appreciate a free follow up round if anyone from Boulders management reads these reviews.

This course is in wonderful condition except for the tee boxes. The fact that all of the tee boxes, except for par 3 holes, were under construction and unavailable. Other than that, the course is unique and beautiful. I will play it again.

Even after receiving a discount for summer, having forward tees on every hole (other than par-3’s), was a major disappointment. Hitting irons off each tee, on uneven temporary tee boxes, made it feel more like an executive course. Scored well but would rather have been tested from the tips as I hoped to be.

Great course for the summertime pricing. Tee boxes will be nice in Fall I’m sure.
