Reviews
epennes, thank you for your review. I am glad to see you enjoyed your time here and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Stone Creek -probably not at its best but still…
Recently over seeded. Golf now listed as 90 degree but was cart path only. Greeted rudely at bag drop. Greens unmowed for several days. Everything wet. Many sand traps unplayable with standing water. If I had paid $80 instead of $150, I wouldn’t have expected more but conditions were awful and should have been noted as such when booking and reiterated when checking in. On the positive side, course layout was interesting and more than challenging enough at 6300 from the gold tees. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Still, there are too many better options around this price point (even during over seeding) to consider returning.
TMoonlite, thank you for your review. I am glad to hear the service was great, but do apologize for the course conditions. We have been doing extensive work out there to ensure the conditions improve, and we are in excellent shape 2 1/2 months after overseed. Come back and see us soon!
Greens were terrible!
Played here yesterday. The weather was great! I pulled up to the front and was immediately greeted by cart guys with pink shirts. They were courteous and friendly. They directed me to my cart and placed me and Son’s back in the cart. Went to check in. Check in went smoothly. Casually walked around the Pro Shop. Pretty good selection of golf wear and accessories. Went to driving range to go warm up. Balls were in pretty good shape and so was the range. Tee time was pretty much on time. So far so good until……we got to the first green. The greens were abysmally slow! I have never played on greens this slow and rough! Did some forget to mow the greens! Okay maybe it was just the first hole. No! It was disappointment after disappointment 17 more times. Wow! What a big let down!!
dweebjr, thank you for your review. I am glad to hear our service was top notch, but want to apologize for the greens post overseed. We have been doing a lot of work on them recently and are now better than ever! Come back and see us soon to experience them!
Nice Course but...
The course was great but was very wet and muddy due to overseeding irrigation. Add on cart-path only, and made for challenging round. Overall, and pleasant round.
richinarizona, thank you for your recent review about your round post overseed. After overseed, we do add extra water and stay on the paths to ensure the seed grows correctly during the season. We look forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future!
Good course! Nice layout!
Only played 9 holes. Greens were in great shape! Course was prepping to over seed but still in good condition.
perrysegura, thank you for your review and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your time out here! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Stone Creek
Information on Golf Now regarding the course condition is essential and none of the following was available. They were preparing the course for overseeding. The fairways were shaved to the dirt. The greens had been aerated in the last few weeks and were still bumpy.
I play a couple hundred rounds per year and these were the worst conditions I have experienced in years. The word deplorable comes to mind.
sldelp, thank you for the feedback. I would like to discuss in greater detail your time spent with us. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Great holes, very poor condition.
I have played this course many times over the years, mostly back in the late 1990s to 2002. I always remember the course as being in good condition. Recently my son-in-law from Durango called to say he would be in town a few days and asked me to schedule some golf on Sunday, Sept. 24th. I booked a tee-time of 10:33. The staff was very professional and polite. The golf carts were new. After that our round turned sour. The putting green was in poor condition and way too small for the amount of golfers. The driving range hitting area has got to be one of the worst I've ever used. Once on the course, we found the tee boxes were in very poor condition, the fairways were just as bad, the sand traps were soaking wet and poorly maintained. The putting greens were bumpy, putts could not be kept on line. I would not recommend playing this course until it is properly maintained. That's too bad, since they have some great golf holes and a nice clubhouse/pro shop. Michael Malone, Phoenix, AZ
u314164460050, thank you for your feedback. This past week we have been preparing for our overseed, and I apologize that we fell short in informing you of this. Every year we take the heights down and dry out the course so we can prepare the course for the seed that will pop during the season. We are doing a lot of work during our closure to make this place better than it has ever been. I would like to invite you back once we open to give us another chance. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Staff was great
Getting ready for overseer but course still have in good shape. Only issue was they started a tournament on the back that slowed down and had to wait on the last three holes. Staff was friendly at in all areas

Course conditions and pace of play
The pace of play was horrendous, it was so bad we left after 12 holes. To complete 12 holes it took 3.5 hours. There wasn’t a Marshall anywhere on the course. We also checked the website prior to booking for over-seeding, as there was no mention we decided to booked. Upon arrival the course was in terrible shape as they were preparing for over-seeding. If we had known we would have never booked this course.
dbondy, thank you for your review. I apologize for the pace of play during your round, and for the pre-overseed conditions. We make a heavy emphasis to inform all golfers walking in and calling in our preparations for overseed as well as our expectation for pace of play, but I do apologize for falling short during your time spent with us. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com so we can discuss further.
Pace of play was so slow that it took almost 3 hours to play the front nine. We weren’t able to finish all 18 holes before dark.
Dantonio, thank you for your review. I deeply apologize that our pace of play was slow on the day you spent with us. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. I would like to discuss more about your round here, and invite you back to finish your round. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Round
The GM Jeff reached out after our bad round with punched greens. Great guy. Owned up to it and made it right. Good to see someone care.
Luke, thank you for the kind words and for giving us another chance. Looking forward to seeing you out here on Saturday!
