The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale

Great staff beautiful back drop! Well kept course. Cart path only is always a negative to me but is expected this time of year. Covid makes it hard to truly enjoy what places have to offer so it was really good today I can only imagine how outstanding outside of these crazy times. I bet it's outstanding!

Course just came out of overseeding, so cart path only, but pace of play was still just a little over 4 hrs. Back nine is one of the most picturesque in the valley.

The course was in great shape, the staff is most helpful and the pace of play was outstanding. It’s a terrific course for the average golfer. Hard enough but not so difficult that you lose a dozen balls.

for this time of year, the greens were outstanding. reseeding is happening everywhere now or soon, so for these greens to be so good was impressive.

This is my second time playing and both times have been phenomenal. Course is in excellent condition and although it’s a short course it’s accuracy is key. Greens are Bermuda and are some of the best Bermuda greens I’ve played on. The views on the back nine are breathtaking. Would recommend this course 10/10.

On the short side at 6500 yards from the tips but the greens are very fun. Have to be on the right tier with the flag or put up big scores

Played the Phoenician for the first time. Wonderful place to play and have fun. Tees are in neat places, approaches are fair, then the toughest part. Right the putting is a test. Two of the fellows were troon members and they had fun with flat stick as well. Not easy but very memorable. I can hardly wait to try it again.. jcs

Expected a bit more given the cost and reputation. Course needs some work and some views off of the course dampened the overall experience.

Course was in super shape. The greens were the best of any course we've been to in the last six weeks. We were out early and made it around in three hours. We'll be back.

Fairways, greens and the sand traps are in great shape. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Exclusive type of club. Front 9 wanders through condos (I think) and a few homes. The 10th hole is very far away from the 9th hole. Directions are not very good. The greens were in excellent shape. Looks like they will be putting in more condos around the 18th hole.

The back nine and front nine are totally different ; they have craved up the front nine so to accommodate new buildings . Back nine was very enjoyable , but the front nine was disappointing .

If you have never played here, you need to. If you have, it’s still a really nice course, just not the views of old. Course and greens are in great shape for the summer. I got a hot deal for 11:30 and finished by 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon.
