The Phoenician Golf Club reopened in the fall of 2018 after a massive redesign and renovation by Scottsdale-based architect Phil Smith. The new 18-hole layout replaces the original 27-hole routing. Every hole is new, featuring TifEagle grass greens and tees, fairways and rough that are 419 Bermuda grass. The golf shop has been expanded as well, and the Club Car golf carts have been outfitted with the "Shark Experience" - a new golf technology with a high-definition touch screen and built-in speakers for playing music and watching live sports, news and entertainment, along with GPS yardage.

Premium Golf - Reasonable Rate

Most resort courses don’t offer much of a challenge. However, from any tee box, the Phoenician doesn’t hold back! Great elevation changes along with risk/reward par-4s & 5s make this resort course a must play for locals and visitors alike. June Golf at the Phoenician

This is the first time I played the Phoenician since it changed to 18 holes from 27. They did a good job with the holes they kept. I did miss the Downhill par 3 on Camelback that is no longer there. Overall a good layout, might be short for long hitters. Greens were in nice shape, Troon properties usually are.

Avid golfer

Course is beautiful staff was even better. Greens were very slow. Rangers need to push slow groups better keep a nice place 4:45 to long mainly because of one group. By 16, 17 3 groups on one hole by 18 there were 4 groups on18.
