Loved the layout trees vows water really beautiful

I was very disappointed to find that all of the fairways on the first nine I played were dried out straw coloured and were impossible to judge distances on. I chose this course because I understood it to be one of the more select ones but, having played 5 other less prestigious courses in the area, I found them all to be in better condition and were much less expensive. I will not be playing this course again until I hear reports that it has recovered.

The place is really beautiful! the course was a bit dry but the atmosphere was fantastic!! I really likes the experience.

Most of their fairways were pretty crispy, very dry!

BUT...players unfamiliar with the course NEED a picture of each hole layout-- which way does the dogleg go?,,,where are the penalty areas?... to avoid "blind" shots.

On a certain par-5, my playing partner was SURE the fairway went left, while I thought it went right. He ended up a mile away and, while I was correct, my ball ended up under the lip of a bunker that I could not have guessed was there.

We enjoyed playing Rancho. The fairways and greens were in great condition.

Anza was in poor condition. Would not go back to play Anza.

Slow pace of play , 2 slow 2somes & a group of 5 ( didn’t think 5 was allowed ? ) ahead of us . Ranger didn’t seem to be able to resolve it , maybe intimidated by the 5 men , but could have had the 2 somes join up or move along quicker . Painful pace of play , finished in the dark. !

Great course play kid of slow, why would you let a 5 some play and not group up 2 somes???. Loved the course

I really enjoyed this course. The people we got paired with wer easy to get along with and we were happy with the conditions of the fairways and greens.

Paid $30 for non player passenger is way too much much for just a rider. I think the managers should look into of reducing the price for anyone who wants to ride a long like spouses or partner who wants to accompany their love ones

What a great day! We had never played this course before, but had it on our list because of the Tin Cup connection. We got a great price on Golf Now, and it was well worth the drive (about 45 minutes south of Tucson). Great rustic feel to the place - a real old time golf resort like stepping into the past. Wooden “farm-style” fences bordering some of the fairways, and there were even a few cows that got onto the course on the 17th hole to access the water hazard. But don’t misunderstand - this is a tremendous golf course, with some truly fun holes and some very challenging ones. Staff are beyond friendly and the pro shop has some great merchandise (my wife enjoyed that part of the day far too much!). The course was in fantastic shape just recently off overseeding, but long enough back that we could take the carts on the fairways. Just a great golf experience and we will very eagerly go back next time we are in the area.
