Tubac golf resort
One of my favorite courses in Tucson area. Doesn't matter which two nines you play. Course was in great shape as always. I wish other courses took as good care of their courses as Tubac does. You won't be disappointed. Easily top 5 in Tucson area.
First Impression
I had read how good the course was and basically it was a decent course. A couple of holes were fairly tough, but overall the course was wide open. I think once was enough to play the course, nothing really made me want to return, especially for the price.
Tubac Resort Anza-Otero 18
The course was in great shape and there are strategically place traps and ponds to make it challenging. It is more expensive than some of the other courses in the area, but I got a good rate via Golf Now.
Unique golf course
Love the old mesquite trees lining the course. Great design and fun to play. A must for any level of golfer.
I “Tin Cupped” all over the Tin Cup hole
Our group enjoyed the course very much. Despite recent rain the course itself was very dry and the greens were not receptive. Lost a number of good shots to hard bounces and a lot of roll out. Playing on the Tin Cup holes was neat, and we liked how the course acknowledged the scenes with informative plaques. Without actually trying I managed to drop a bunch of balls on the famous hole. Lunch after was excellent with reasonable prices. The staff throughout the day was exceptional.
Not your normal Arizona course
When you add lots of mature trees ranch setting with cattle, a pretty unique setting. With 3 nines that are all different makes for a fun 18.
Nice course, slightly tricked up in places, but lots of fun. A desert course must have water available in the carts and on the course. No help offered to unload or load clubs. Really need to work with some of the bag staff on friendliness and helpfulness.
No help with loading or unloading clubs. No one put the clubs on carts. Very hot and dry, so for the price there should be water on the carts.

My wife and I love this course. It’s not in great shape and some of the holes are fairly plain but the greens are pretty good and the staff is fantastic. Add in the resort’s ambience and it’s a winner!
