Course in decent shape after overseed
Pace of play was not bad and golfers with me were friendly for not knowing them. Would recommend course to all if prices don’t get too high this coming year???
Nice course, rude golfers
Course was in very good condition, but 2 of 3 times I have played here have had bad experiences with other golfers. Rude, slow, old, bitter and act as if they are the owners. They do not like golfers who are under retirement age and let it be known. Not worth the hassle when the winter visitors are there. Avoid this place.
Nice short course
Great for intermediate players and seniors. Nice layout with enough sand traps to force you to make good shots. Great price through TeeOff app. Will definitely be back😎
Unfriendly
Outside staffer was unfriendly, negative about completing the round, not the way to begin the with poor attitude from staff!
Slow play
The foursome ahead of us was really slow. To make matters worse I was paired with a nice young man who thinks he can hit very far and his mother who can’t play. Nevertheless the company was good and the course was in decent shape. So, all in all it was ok.
Enjoyable round of golf !
Other than a slow round of 4.5 hours on a weekday (1 slow group caused a wait at every hole), the rest of the day was great. The course was in good condition, saw the drink cart often & staff were very engaging.
Would definitely play this course again.
Marshal
The marshal did not do his job, when we got to the eight hole ther was a very old group that were more than a hole behind. Granted it was cart path only. We were 2:25 on the front and it was getting slower, quit after 12.
Rude staff and regulars
This course is not for the individuals looking to try a new course. Staff are not friendly and just try to corral as many players onto the course as fast as possible. The “regulars” are rude and get away with whatever. One of them we were told was a former employee of the course and I have never been heckled out on the course before coming here. Confronted staff about the behavior and the staff member chose to argue with us that they were not yelling at us when I fact they had been yelling at us since hole 2. I would never recommend this course to anyone and will never be back.
All it takes is one
An elderly big mouth followed us in a threesome. We were four with a twosome ahead of us. It took 4.5 hours for the round. We could hear numerous times the guy behind us complaining we were slow. We kept up with and waited often on the group in front of us. There was no where to go. This rude fellow used to work there. (probably fired) and after the round swore at my partner and called him a liar. On second tee one of his fellow players called him a crabby old man. The starter left at 12:40 pm and was not replaced. We did see a ranger on 14 and reported the mentally ill golfer behind us.
golf cart
starter and club house staff could have recommended walking or riding. Not sure if green fees would be reduced if walking vs riding.
Very enjoyable course
The course was still cart path only due to overseeding but this was only a minor inconvenience. The fairways were good and the greens ran mostly true. The layout is pretty forgiving off the tee since mounds are generally present on both sides so moderately errant tee shots will often funnel back toward the fairway. We finished our round in just over four hours.
Solid course
We had a great time. Only downfall was cartpath only, which I understand for this time of year. There were some hoodlum kids driving all over the fairways.. even hit a ball into us that hit my friend on the hip with no warning. Other than that, would def play this course again.
Great course, great staff!
First time out inAZ this year. The course is in great shape, just finished reseeding for the winter, so played with cart path only. The staff were very nice, allowed us (2) to start 30 minutes before our tee time- no one waiting, tee boxes open, no one behind us! I really like this course, although when the rest of us "snow birds" arrive it's tough to get a tee time.
